On Thursday we opened up a fan poll for the Inside Survivor readers to vote for their player of the week for Episode 11 of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng – Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawn. The winner of that poll and Player of the Week is…
Michele had her breakout episode this week, and it has brought her her first Player of the Week title of the season. After being on the wrong side of the vote at the previous tribal council, Michele had to work her way back into the majority. She used her strong social connections to prove herself trustworthy to both Aubry and Cydney – her choice to bring Aubry on the reward was a very smart decision and she worked it to her benefit. Not only that but her willingness to cut Julia to advance herself showed just how much focus Michele has on her game. There has been a lot of talk on and off-screen from players thinking that they controlled Michele, yet Michele has voted those players out of the game. Making people believe they control you is a very valid strategy and one that Michele has used to great effect throughout the season, whether people recognize it or not. On top of that, her number memorizing challenge win this week was very impressive.
Michele continues to use her social game to get ahead, and that coupled with a strong immunity challenge win has earned her Player of the Week.

Michelle could make a move, didn´t do it and she´s player of the week? Why?
She made her move by cutting an ally that was hurting her game and got back in the majority. If she voted Tai then Julia would have still gone home and she’d be even further on the outs.
If they (Michelle and Cydney) voted Tai, they could get rid of his advantage and hidden idol. That could be a good move. On the other side, if Tai played the idol, Julia was still out.
It would require both to make the move. Cydney couldn’t make it without Michele, and Michele couldn’t make it without Cydney. Cydney wasn’t doing it, so no point for Michele to stick her neck on the line for Julia.
Well maybe the edit just left it out, but Cydney never put her foot down. Michele’s hand was not forced. All she did was throw away a loyal ally and a 2-2-2 swingvote position at the final 6 with Cydney.
Running back to an alliance that doesn’t want or need you isn’t player of the week material. All she did was flip to the majority, which could have been a good move if her hand was forced (which we’ll say is up for debate) but was a very bad move for her game.
In this episode everybody did what they needed to do. Jason and Julia did their best to try to get the numbers, Michele had to let go of Julia to prove that she can be trusted even with this difficult vote, Aubry and Cydney managed to keep the alliance whole, Tai kept his idol and Joe didn’t get medevaced.
This is an absolute outrage.
Mark the Chicken is not on any of these polls. If he was he’d be sweeping these.
Then again, that might be why he’s not on it.
Michele? Why? She’s been a follower the whole season and she was a follower in this episode too.
i agree… she could make a move (get rid of Tai and his advantages) with Cydney, but they decide to follow the majority. It´s easier.
Erm… she didn’t really do anything except not get in the way.
Yes… Michele did the trick this week to rehabilitate her game. The poll is about week to week performance.
Having said that, Mark is more important in game strategy at this point than Michele.
Are we done here?
In a week with pretty straightforward strategy, winning reward and immunity challenge is a pretty good reason.
If Aubry let Tai use the idol, so she can flush it, then I would have voted for her.
like seriously, if you guys aren’t happy at the player of the week results, where were you when we are all voting on the poll?
Her breakout episode was great. She has been quiet but her cutting Julia really helped her out. I think she has a great chance of winning. Just depends on how she continues to play here on out.
It wasn’t a “breakout episode.”
The vote was pretty much as “no brainer” by the power alliance.
Michele realized she was next after Julia if she didn’t go with the plan.
Did anybody else want to see Jeff quiz Michele to see if she really did memorize all of the numbers? I call her bluff on that.
