Australian Survivor Inside Look

Network Ten releases the latest sneak peek into the all new Australian Survivor.

Australian Survivor is just around the corner, rumoured to begin airing in August after the Rio 2016 Olympics have finished. Earlier this month, Network Ten officially announced the 24 brand new castaways that will be attempting to outwit, outplay and outlast each other on the islands of Samoa. The previous sneak peeks have given a glimpse into some of these feisty Aussie castaways, but the latest preview provides an inside look into the game.

Host Jonathan LaPaglia breaks down the rules of the game and tells us why Survivor is such a fascinating concept. Clips from the new season play over LaPaglia’s introduction, including the three starting tribes arriving on the island on the back of pick-up trucks. Highlighted is the physical and mental toll of Survivor, as we see the castaways struggle with shelter construction and fire-building. As well as clips of upcoming challenges, we see the first signs of strategizing, as the castaways come to terms with having to vote one another out.

Australian Survivor is expected to premiere in August, and Inside Survivor will be providing plenty of coverage, including episode reviews and fan polls.
