It seems like only yesterday we were voting for which former players we wanted to see return to Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance, and now, just like that, the season is over. Filming officially wrapped on July 8 in Cambodia and today the Survivor Second Chance cast return home – in fact, some have already posted on social media. The season began filming on May 31, the 15 year anniversary of the Survivor: Borneo premiere, and is believed to have started with a marooning in tribute to that very first season.

The season saw 20 former one-time players voted back onto the show by America for a second chance at the million dollars. Filming took place on Koh Rong island in Cambodia which has been described as “brutal”. Cambodia was also home to the already filmed 32nd edition of Survivor which will air in February 2016: Inside Survivor has revealed the theme and cast for that season.

Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance will start airing September 23 on CBS. Check out our Survivor Second Chance interviews here and Second Chance Cast Retrospectives.
