Survivor Officially Renewed For Season 33 and 34

CBS officially announces renewals for returning series for the 2016-2017 season, including SURVIVOR.

Today CBS announced the renewals of eleven of their primetime television series – which includes another cycle of long-running reality show SURVIVOR. Ratings continue to hold steady for the hit adventure game show that started back in 2000, consistently winning its timeslot on a Wednesday night. Jeff Probst will return as host.

Seasons 33 and 34 will film between April – July on the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji. Inside Survivor recently gathered all the latest news and rumors regarding the upcoming seasons. Season 33 will air in fall 2016. Survivor 34 will air February 2017.

Below is a full list of the returning series renewals:

  • ELEMENTARY
  • HAWAII FIVE-0
  • MADAM SECRETARY
  • MOM
  • NCIS: LOS ANGELES
  • NCIS: NEW ORLEANS
  • SCORPION
  • 2 BROKE GIRLS
  • SURVIVOR
  • THE AMAZING RACE

Renewals for THE BIG BANG THEORY and NCIS were previously announced. CBS will finish this season as America’s most-watched network for the 13th time in 14 years. Season-to-date, the Network is also #1 in adults 18-49 and 25-54.
