Episode 10 & 11 Stats

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Vote-out

  • Chris was voted out 7-4.
    • Chris is only the second person named Chris to play Survivor.
      • The other was Chris Daugherty, winner of Survivor: Vanuatu.
      • Chris Hammons is also the only contestant billed from Oklahoma other than Scout Cloud Lee, also from Survivor: Vanuatu. Zeke was born in Oklahoma but is billed from Brooklyn, New York on the show.
  • Jessica drew the black rock and was eliminated.
    • This is only the third time that a tribe had to draw rocks after a tied vote. The previous times were in Survivor: Marquesas and Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
    • Both times Jessica received votes at tribal council, Bret, Chris, and Sunday were one of them.
    • This episode had the earliest rock draw in Survivor history.
      • Also, this was the most people participating in a rock draw ever.
  • David played his idol on Ken.
    • David has now played two idols on people other than himself. The only other player to do this is Parvati Shallow who played her two idols on Jerri Manthey and Sandra Diaz-Twine in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.
  • After this episode, Will is the only person not to receive any votes against him.
  • Both people eliminated in this episode were attorneys.
    • The only attorney to make it to F2/F3 has been Becky Lee in Survivor: Cook Islands.

Confessionals

  • Ken went four episodes without a confessional, then received one in the second episode of the night
  • Zeke had the most confessionals in Episode 10 with ten.
  • The only person to not get a confessional in Episode 10a was Ken, and the only person not to get a confessional in Episode 10b was Will.

Reward Challenges – “Ferryman”/“Slither Me Timbers.”

  • Bret and Sunday have won every post-merge reward challenge.
  • Will, Jess, and Jay haven’t won a post-merge reward challenge yet.

Immunity Challenges – “With a 10 ft pole”/ “Rusty Gates.”

  • Both a Millennial and Gen X member won immunity in these episodes.
    • In the four post-merge episodes, two Millennials and two Gen X members have won immunity.

Ratings

  • Episode 10 received 7.69 million viewers and 1.5/5 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share. The episode aired during Thanksgiving week.

Title

  • Jay Starrett said the episode title “Million Dollar Gamble” about his decision not to use his hidden immunity idol during the Episode 10a tribal council.
    • This is the third episode in a row Jay said the title.

  1. I’m fairly certain you have made an error. Yul Kwon was a lawyer, regardless of what he was “billed” as. He is the only player to my knowledge to play Survivor who had ever graduated from Yale Law School, the best law school in the world.

  2. I’ve noticed that during rocks drawing always was eliminated person who draw it first (Jessica and Katie) or last (Pascal).
