Watch First 5 Minutes of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng

Survivor returns on Wednesday night for what has been described as one of the most brutal and punishing seasons in the show’s 16-year history. It may still be two days away but you can now watch the first 5 minutes of the Survivor: Kaôh Rōng – Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawn premiere below.

In this opening clip courtesy of CBS, host Jeff Probst introduces the season as the 18 brand new castaways scramble aboard a ship, collecting as many supplies as possible to begin their potential 39-day adventure. The mad scramble is interspersed with clips of the heavily promoted medical evacuations, with shots of cuts, infections and passed out contestants.

The marooning also features brief confessionals from a selection of the new players, including jack-of-all-trades, Debbie Wanner, who touts her challenge prowess by telling the camera that “Puzzles lay down for me like lovers.” Also featured is former NBA champion Scot Pollard who makes it clear that he has no time for weak people on his tribe. Life Coach, Nick Maiorano also welcomes himself to the world by talking about how much easier his life is due to his dashing good looks.

Survivor: Kaôh Rōng premieres Wednesday 17 February at 8pm on CBS. Check out the full cast bios and press photo gallery and rumored season twists.

  1. I am certainly convinced that Nick is desperate to be the villain of the season. He certainly is and he is the type of villain I will try to forget as soon as he is eliminated or roasted at the final tribal council. Either way works for me.
