Episode 6 Stats

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Vote-out

  • Figgy was voted out 3-2.
    • She received three votes against her at both tribal councils she attended.
      • Both times, Adam was one of the votes against her.
  • Five of the six people voted out this season have been women.
  • Both people that received votes this episode were the youngest of their gender on their original starting tribe (Figgy and Ken).
  • The vote out pattern is still similar to Survivor: Nicaragua, where the original older tribe lost someone in episodes 1, 3, 4 & 5, while the original younger tribe lost someone in episodes 2 & 6.

Confessionals

  • This is the first episode where David did not have the most confessionals.
  • This is the first episode where the person voted out received the most confessionals.
    • Figgy had four; everyone else had zero, one or two.
    • She had more confessionals than the entire Vanua tribe (three total) and the whole Ika Bula tribe (three total)
  • Sunday and Will have not received a confessional since Episode 3.
    • Five people did not receive confessionals this episode.
  • This episode had the lowest amount of confessionals so far this season, with only seventeen.

Hidden Immunity Idol

  • Jay found the Ikabula idol, which means idols from all three beaches are currently in play.
    • Survivor: Cambodia is the only season with three pre-merge tribes in which all of the tribal idols were not found.
      • The Angkor tribe’s hidden immunity idol clue wasn’t found, so it was never hidden at a challenge.
    • Survivor: All-Stars had three tribes, but hidden immunity idols did not come into play until Survivor: Guatemala.

Reward Challenge – “Blind Leading the Blind.”

  • Takali lost both challenges in this episode.
  • Both times this challenge has been played in Fiji, a green team won.
  • Hannah received medical after the challenge due to suffering a panic attack. This is the first time a person who sat out of a challenge has required medical attention.

Immunity Challenge – “It’s in the Bag.”

  • This challenge is similar to the “House of the Holy” challenge previously seen on Survivor: Worlds Apart and Survivor: Kaoh Rong.

Ratings

Title

  • The episode title “The Truth Works Well” was said by Michelle after Jeff asked Figgy about her response to Michelle being safe.

    • Kelley and Jeremy got their first idols pre-merge (from Ta Keo and Bayon beaches respectively) but Angkor’s idol/clue was never found.
