Watch First 6 Minutes of Australian Survivor

Get a sneak peek at the opening six-minutes of the highly anticipated Australian Survivor season premiere.

One week from today Australian Survivor returns to Channel TEN, marking the first time since 2006 the Aussie version of the hit reality show has been on TV. Over 15,000 people applied to take part in the new series, with 24 lucky Aussies chosen and flown to Samoa, where they spent upwards of 55 days battling it out for $500,000.

Ahead of the premiere on Sunday, August 21 at 7:30 pm (EST), fans can watch the opening 6 minutes courtesy of News.com.au:

Channel TEN have made big claims about how the production value of the new series would be comparable to the popular American version, and judging by the opening 6 minutes, it seems they were true to their word. Stunning helicopter shots, perfect soundtrack, and host Jonathan LaPaglia doing his best Jeff Probst impression. That’s before we even get to see the cast, who look to be an interesting mix of down-to-earth folk and superfan gamers.

  1. Kylie is either the winner or is going to be Australia’s Cirie. Last confessional before the game has shades of a Jeremy Collins edit. Maybe she’ll be the female Jeremy. She is a firefighter after all. I think I’m rooting for her. So that’s awesome if she wins.

  2. Hey guys, have you figured out a way to be able to watch this season in America yet? I’ve been looking nonstop bit I can’t find any free and easy way to watch it without living in Australia.
