Vote-out

  • Taylor was voted out 7-4-1.
    • This is the first time this season where the former Gen X members outnumber the Millennials.
    • Taylor is the first male to be voted out since Paul in Episode 3.
      • He’s also the first male member of the Millennials to be voted out.
  • David still has a perfect voting record.
  • This is the first episode where there have been no votes against women.

Confessionals

  • Jay had the most confessionals this episode with ten.
    • He had almost ⅓ of all the confessionals in this episode.
  • Ken and Jessica didn’t receive a confessional this episode.
    • Ken hasn’t had a confessional for three episodes.
  • Paul (who was voted out in Episode 3) has one more confessional than Will (still in the game).

Reward Challenge – “All Mixed Up.”

  • Jessica is the only former Gen X member not to win reward this episode.
  • Taylor is the only former Millennial member to win reward this episode.

Immunity Challenge – “Bo Diddley.”

  • This challenge has previously been seen in South Pacific, Cagayan, & Cambodia.
    • This particular bow-shaped challenge apparatus was used in South Pacific.

Ratings

Title

  • The episode title “Still Throwin’ Punches” was said by Jay about him being vulnerable at the upcoming tribal council and wanting to keep fighting to stay in the game.
