Last night Jeremy Collins was crowned the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chance in a unanimous vote. But as one season ends, another is just around the corner. Survivor: Kaôh Rōng – Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty will premiere February 17, 2016, on CBS.
Watch a preview courtesy of CBS for Survivor: Kaôh Rōng:
Survivor: Kaôh Rōng filmed on Koh Rong Island in Cambodia through March-May earlier this year. The 32nd edition actually filmed before Survivor: Cambodia and for the first time, the seasons will be aired out of order. This decision was due to the fan-vote returnee twist of Season 31. The conditions on Survivor: Kaôh Rōng were described as “brutal” and as can be seen in the preview, resulted in multiple medical evacuations.
For more information on the new season, you can check out the entire cast and their bios here. Inside Survivor also revealed the tribe names and divisions back in June.

This season looks to be interesting! The logo is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly reflects the tribe colors. The torches seeme very colorful and included a good deal of beads and colored twine. Hopefully this is an attempt by the producers to covertly supply the contestants with supplies for creating hidden immunity idols. The buffs look incredible, but the logo seems to span almost entirely across the buff into the pattern on the side and near the buff logo. This is the first time this has happened. Also, can anyone else make out whether Chanloh’s insignia is a crocodile or a dragon? Gondola’ is a snake and Totang’s is a tiger, but i can’t really tell with Chanloh. Also, does anyone have any idea when the buffs hit the online market?
I saw an image of what is supposed to be the Totang buff, but it is obviously fake. When compared to the buff Sarge is wearing at the 1:29 mark in the preview the many details don’t match. The tigers are different and the pattern is different. The creator did pay attention to some of the unusual details such as the logo spanning farther across the buff than normal, the slight edits to the croteau font, and the tell-tale trademark symbol. Could this have been the same person who made the fake Cambodia merge buff? It makes sense that only the Totang buff was faked since we haven’t yet gotten a good look at the other buffs. Also, is anyone aware of when they will officially reveal the cast?
