Tribal Council
- Aubry crossed out her vote for Julia and went with Peter.
- Hayden did a similar thing in Blood vs. Water when he originally voted for Ciera, crossed it out to vote for Brad, and then crossed that out and voted for Ciera.
- Gervase did something similar in Borneo, but he accidentally voted for Greg (who had immunity) so he had to cross it out to vote for Sue.
Tribes
- Nick and Michele will reach the merge without ever going to tribal council.
- They join the Tandang tribe (R.C., Abi, Skupin, Artis, Pete, & Lisa) and Joe and Keith in Cambodia.
- Each starting tribe lost at least 2 people before the merge.
- Both BvBvB seasons had one starting tribe lose 3 people, and the other two starting tribes lost 2 people each pre-merge.
- Cagayan– Brains lost 3 people, Brawn lost 2 people (one quit), Beauty lost 2 people.
- Kaôh Rōng – Brawn lost 3 people, Beauty lost 2 people (1 medevaced), Brains lost 2 people.

The first part of reward challenge was a never before seen challenge, but followed a typical challenge format too.
Peter is the first male voted out of any of the pre merge tribes beginning with the letter G (Galu, Gota, Galang, and Gondol). All other males eliminated from a pre merge “G” tribe were medically evacuated (Russell S., Shamar, and Caleb); switched with a loved one to Redemption Island (Rupert); or quit (Colton).
Nick was wearing a Gondol buff instead of a Chan Loh buff when he ‘said’ Play or Go Home.
