To anyone wondering how Survivor legend Cirie Fields is doing on Big Brother season 25, as well as her son Jared Fields and Cory Wurtenberger (Survivor 42 Zach Wurtenberger’s brother), this is the place for you!

This will be a time-pending cover of how Cirie, Jared, and Cory are doing in the show as long as they remain in it. These articles will also be significantly helped by Taran Armstrong’s entire season’s coverings, which can be viewed or listened to on the Rob Has a Podcast website and YouTube channel.

COVERING DATES: Late September 13th – Early September 20th, 2023

CIRIE FIELDS

  • On day 43, the house flips on its head, spearheading the season in a whole different direction. Cirie senses a shift within the house after Matt refuses to look her in the eye after trying to solidify the vote against Felicia. Cirie knows that if the flip happens, it’s due to Cory (and Matt) turning against her.
  • Izzy feels it’s her fault the flip is happening because she told Cory they needed to evict America. Cirie is upset Izzy is leaving, but she knows the other side of the house is weak and doesn’t trust each other, which she will use to her advantage.
  • Izzy is later voted out of the house in an 8-1 vote; Cirie is the only one who votes against Felicia. Cirie tells Jared, in passing, that he needs to vote with the majority of the house.
  • During the HOH competition, Cirie tells Felicia that she’d rather starve on an island than get drenched and smacked with giant meatballs on the wall.
  • Cirie misses Izzy in the game and is feeling her absence. When Jared later wins the HOH, Cirie tells him that if Cameron wins the veto (who is Jared’s target), he can nominate Cirie instead to get a clean slate.
  • Julie Chen reveals this season will have a seven-person jury instead of nine, which means two more people will be evicted before the jury phase of the game begins. Several people, including Cirie, anticipate the next week to be a double eviction.
  • After Jag wins the veto, Cirie’s mind is back in the game. Matt becomes “Matt Fields” once again as he tells Cirie about several people planning to target Jared next week.
  • Matt asks Cirie if Heroes vs. Villains was a good Survivor season to watch, and Cirie hilariously replies it wasn’t (as she left early).
  • Cirie jokes with Jared about her telling Blue she knows she’s the third wheel between her and Jared, as Cirie doesn’t know Blue knows the secret, and Jared hasn’t confessed he told her.
  • Cirie has tried to undo Jared’s mistakes from last week. Unfortunately, the damage seems irreparable as even Felicia and Mecole want to win HOH to nominate Cirie/Jared to evict Jared. Cirie also realises she’s been having fewer game talks with everybody, and most of Cirie’s talks are leaked throughout the house, making her an even bigger target.
  • As of day 50, the target for the first eviction is Cameron, though Cirie has had talks about flipping the votes to keep Cameron to destabilise Cory’s side. The double eviction target is Jared, or if he wins safety, Cirie.
  • Cirie’s alliances so far:
  1. The Fields trio: Cirie, Jared, Izzy (extinct alliance)
  2. Brown Sugar Babes: Jared, Cirie, Felicia, Mecole.
  3. Bye-Bye Bitches: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Izzy, Bowie. (extinct alliance)
  4. Felirie/The Bookends: Cirie and Felicia
  5. The Professors: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Jared, Izzy, Bowie, Hisam, Red. (extinct alliance)
  6. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzie. (extinct alliance)
  7. The Seven Deadly Sins (formerly the Savage Seven): Cirie, Jag, Blue, Matt, Izzy, Felicia, and Jared. (fake/extinct alliance)
  8. Legend 25: Cirie, Izzy, Felicia, Red, Cameron, Mecole, Matt, and Bowie. (fake/extinct alliance)
  9. For Real For Real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy. (extinct alliance)

JARED FIELDS

  • Jared completely unravelled his, Cirie’s, and Izzy’s games over the last couple of days by turning Cory against them. Jared thinks everything is going according to plan until Cirie tells him things are shifting.
  • Jared lies to Matt and then to Cory about Jag ratting them out about them wanting to vote out Izzy. The lie works at the beginning since Jag has leaked information before, and he wanted to be the one to tell Jared/Cirie about the flip the night before.
  • Matt tells Felicia she has the votes to stay, though not the votes she thinks. After Felicia tells Jared about Matt, Jared once again asks Matt about the flip. Matt confesses there’s one due to Cory telling him and the others about Jared/Cirie/Izzy being in various alliances.
  • Jared confronts Cory, and a chaotic argument ensues between them, witnessed by Bowie Jane, Matt, Jag, and later by Cirie. Jared argues for himself, and his arguments quickly unravel as he gets caught in several lies. Jared dismissively says Matt must have misunderstood him (due to Matt being deaf) to cover his lie, which angers Matt as it was a cheap shot from Jared to use his disability against him.
  • Jared wins the wall competition for HOH. Blue is upset she didn’t win (she dropped a few seconds before Jared), and Jared is upset she didn’t celebrate his win. They later discuss Blue telling Jared she’s glad he told her his secret (about his mom being in the game), but Jared wonders why she brought the subject up. When Blue is alone in the HOH room, she declares she wants Jared out of the game.
  • After his talk with Blue, Jared tells Cirie that Izzy might have told Blue their secret. Cirie tells him Izzy wouldn’t do that.
  • Jared and Cameron discuss the latter targeting Izzy, one of Jared’s closest allies, when they are supposedly working together. If Jared doesn’t nominate him, Cameron offers a protection deal for next week. Jared considers the deal but knows Cameron wants to target Cirie, so he doesn’t accept it.
  • Jared nominates Cory and America for eviction, intending to backdoor Cameron. Jag later wins the veto and uses it on Cory. Jared later makes good on his purpose of backdooring Cameron and nominates him for eviction alongside America.
  • At this point, Blue has turned against Jared due to him not sharing game information with her. However, Jared is unaware and thinks he still has Blue in his corner. Blue has been spilling information to the rest of the house about Jared/Cirie, except for their secret.
  • Jared expects to evict Cameron, but Cirie wants a 4-4 vote (Matt, Mecole, Blue, and herself to keep Cameron) and for Jared to evict America. Jared is the main target for the double eviction.
  • Jared’s alliances so far:
  1. The Fields trio: Cirie, Jared, Izzy. (extinct alliance)
  2. Brown Sugar Babes: Jared, Cirie, Felicia, Mecole.
  3. The Professors: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Jared, Izzy, Bowie, Hisam, Red. (extinct alliance)
  4. Family Style: Jared, Matt, Reilly, Blue, Cameron, America, Cory, Jag. (extinct alliance)
  5. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzie. (extinct alliance)
  6. Final two with Cory: Cory doesn’t plan to uphold it. (extinct alliance)
  7. The Seven Deadly Sins (formerly the Savage Seven): Cirie, Jag, Blue, Matt, Izzy, Felicia, and Jared. (fake/extinct alliance)
  8. For Real For Real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy. (extinct alliance)
  9. Showmance with Blue

CORY WURTENBERGER

  • Jared wants to use Cory’s secret (about his brother Zach being on Survivor) to drive a wedge between Cory and America when Jared tells Cameron about this information, not America. After Cory finds out that Jared is trying to pit him against America, Cory turns completely against him and Cirie.
  • America had been planting the seeds of flipping the vote against Izzy for days, and Cory, Mecole, Matt, Jag, and Bowie Jane plan to blindside Cirie, Jared, and Blue. Cory rallies the troops by spilling all his information on Cirie/Jared/Izzy over the last three weeks.
  • Cory and America pretend to have broken up in front of Cirie to cover up the flip and to justify why they might act sketchy. Cirie is sad about this as she was rooting for them. They later “rekindle” things.
  • Cory believes Jared at first about Jag spilling the flip information and tells Matt they need to get rid of Jag after Jared. Afterwards, Cory realises Jared must be lying, and they have a confrontation in the Have-Not room.
  • Cory and Jared argue about all the lies and alliances leaked over the last couple of hours/days. Jared yells at Cory to defend himself, and Cory stands his ground about Jared being the liar. Cory brings Jag into the conversation to corroborate Cory’s arguments, leaving Jared worse for wear. Cory also points out that Cirie/Jared/Felicia/Izzy are in an alliance with everyone else.
  • Just as Izzy is evicted from the house, she calls Cory a “pipsqueak” (for turning the vote and tanking her game) and tells him she’ll see him soon. Cory understands Izzy feeling betrayed by him and doesn’t hold it against her.
  • Jag, Matt, and Cory formulate a plan to pretend they trust Jared again as he’s HOH this week but plan to backdoor him at their next chance.
  • For the first time this season, Cory is nominated for eviction by his former ally, Jared, alongside his final two/showmance, America.
  • Cory, Jared, America, Cameron, Jag, and Bowie Jane played for the veto, which Jag later won. Jag uses the veto on Cory, and Jared nominates Cameron for eviction.
  • Cory and America start to rely on Blue, Matt, and Jag to form a new alliance, and the rest even discuss throwing the next HOH competition to Cory/America to get Jared out of the game.
  • Cory thinks the wall competition was rigged for Jared to win the HOH as he wasn’t as drenched as other people. However, contestants chose their respective places on the wall.
  • Cory is doing everything in his power for the whole house to keep his showmance America in the house and later to target Cirie/Jared in the double eviction.
  • Cory’s alliances so far:
  1. Family Style: Jared, Matt, Reilly, Blue, Cameron, America, Cory, Jag. (extinct alliance)
  2. Mecory: has a deal with Mecole to look out for one another.
  3. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzy. (extinct alliance)
  4. Final two with Jared: Cory doesn’t plan to uphold it. (extinct alliance)
  5. Final two/Showmance with America: real deal for Cory
  6. For Real For Real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy. (extinct alliance)
  7. 3-Way/The Reliable Rats: Cory, America, and Matt. (Matt doesn’t like America)
