To anyone wondering how Survivor legend Cirie Fields is doing on Big Brother season 25, as well as her son Jared Fields and Cory Wurtenberger (Survivor 42 Zach Wurtenberger’s brother), this is the place for you!

This will be a time-pending cover of how Cirie, Jared, and Cory are doing in the show as long as they remain in it. These articles will also be significantly helped by Taran Armstrong’s entire season’s coverings which can be viewed or listened to on the Rob Has a Podcast website and YouTube channel.

COVERING DATES: Late August 21st – Early August 29th, 2023

CIRIE FIELDS

  • Red says he doesn’t trust Jared after purposely telling him information that was brought back to him, indicating Jared isn’t trustworthy. But he tells this to Cirie, Jared’s mother. Cirie now has her sights upon Red.
  • After Hisam gets blindsided, he reveals the Professors alliance to America, but thanks to Cirie, Hisam says Cameron was the one who flipped to target Reilly’s side (it was actually Jared).
  • Another fake alliance emerges for Cirie (to keep Red and Cameron thinking she’s working with them) called Legend 25, consisting of Cirie, Izzy, Felicia, Red, Cameron, Mecole, Matt, and Bowie. They decide to target Jag, Blue, and America.
  • At this point, Cirie is in an alliance or working with everyone in the house to some degree, except for America.
  • Cirie and Izzy have a crucial conversation discussing their long-term and short-term plans. Their main targets are Red, Cameron, and America, followed by Jag and Blue. Bowie, Mecole, and Matt are their allies for now. Cory and Felicia will be long-term problems.
  • Cirie creates chaos in the house again as she considers flipping the vote towards keeping Hisam. After a few hours, Cirie and her allies circle back to voting out Hisam. Hisam is later voted out unanimously.
  • The iconic Pressure Cooker competition is back after 18 years, where players are forced to hold on to a button until the last person is standing. Cirie and Jared drop before the two-hour mark. Cameron wins the HOH competition after 13 hours and 52 minutes.
  • Cameron nominates Jag and Blue, and Red later wins the veto. The target shifts between Jag and Blue multiple times, mainly due to Cirie and her coalition deciding what’s best for them. Red decides not to use the veto.
  • Matt tells Cirie all the information he’s been getting from “the other side” of the house to Cirie, keeping her informed of pretty much all the house’s inner workings.
  • Mecole wins a reward after the Pressure Cooker competition where she can invite three houseguests for a special dinner. Mecole picks Cirie, Felicia, and America, where they loosely talk about a potential final four.
  • The plan so far is to keep Jag over Blue, making it a 6-4 vote (Jared being a swing vote and telling him at the last second). Matt and Jared will then lie to Cameron/Red, telling them they voted out Jag and it was America and Cory who blindsided Blue instead. This ruse keeps Cameron/Red “working” with Cirie’s side while they plan their demise, keeping America and Cory on the outs and as targets.
  • Cirie and Jared argue over the vote, and Jared puts his foot down about keeping Blue. Cirie considers going behind his back to have the votes to evict Blue without Jared.
  • Cirie’s alliances so far:
  1. The Fields trio: Cirie, Jared, Izzy (named by the fans)
  2. Brown Sugar Babes: Jared, Cirie, Felicia, Mecole.
  3. Bye-Bye Bitches: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Izzy, Bowie.
  4. Felirie/The Bookends: Cirie and Felicia
  5. The Professors: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Jared, Izzy, Bowie, Hisam, Red. (extinct alliance)
  6. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzie.
  7. The Seven Deadly Sins (formerly the Savage Seven): (fake alliance) Cirie, Jag, Blue, Matt, Izzy, Felicia, and Jared.
  8. Legend 25: (fake alliance) Cirie, Izzy, Felicia, Red, Cameron, Mecole, Matt, and Bowie.
  9. For Real For Real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy.

JARED FIELDS

  • Hisam mentions to Izzy they (the Professors) should nominate Jared and Cory next for eviction, just before Felicia nominates him to get evicted.
  • Jared reveals he cried after Luke got expelled from the game.
  • On day 21, the showmance between Jared and Blue is official as they kiss for the first time.
  • Jared informs Blue about the Legend 25 alliance without first consulting his allies (Cirie and Izzy). Afterward, this event causes Jared and Izzy to have a confrontation in the HOH room, where Jared later talks with Cirie about getting rid of Izzy again.
  • Jared supports the idea of keeping Hisam as he thinks Hisam will be loyal if they keep him. Cory stops the idea in its tracks, and the vote is again reversed as Cirie decides to go with the original plan to vote Hisam out.
  • On day 23, Hisam is voted out unanimously. Jared competes in the Pressure Cooker competition and is the first to drop.
  • After they’re eliminated from the competition, Jared tells Cirie about Hisam possibly targeting her if he’d stayed in the house. Cirie scolds Jared since a flip wouldn’t have been considered if she had had this information sooner.
  • Jared’s game has taken a nosedive so far as he’s immersed himself into a showmance with Blue, leaving Cirie to do all the heavy lifting for both.
  • Jared gets picked to play for the veto alongside Cameron, Blue, Jag, Mecole, and Red. Red later wins the veto.
  • Jared tries to get Blue off the block by telling her to tell Cameron about putting Mecole up on the block, a wrong move, as Mecole is in various alliances with Jared. Blue rats him out, and Jared gets several people angry at him for making this dumb move.
  • Jared reveals to Blue his mom is playing in the house… and Blue thinks it’s Felicia, not Cirie. To solidify their showmance, Jared and Blue go all the way. Funnily enough, Cameron also starts a rumour about Felicia being Denzel Washington’s sister, so Blue probably thinks she’s having a showmance with Jared Washington.
  • Cirie lets Jared know Blue might leave this week, which upsets him, but Jared doesn’t push back against it either. Jared tells Blue afterward he’d like them to find other options in the outside world once one of them leaves the game.
  • Felicia proposes a final two deal to Jared, not knowing that he will tell this information to Cirie. (Cirie already has a F2 with Felicia). This knowledge greatly upsets Cirie.
  • Jared’s alliances so far:
  1. The Fields trio: Cirie, Jared, Izzy. (named by the fans)
  2. Brown Sugar Babes: Jared, Cirie, Felicia, Mecole.
  3. The Professors: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Jared, Izzy, Bowie, Hisam, Red. (extinct alliance)
  4. Family Style: Jared, Matt, Reilly, Blue, Cameron, America, Cory, Jag. (extinct alliance)
  5. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzie.
  6. Final two with Cory: Cory doesn’t plan to uphold it.
  7. The Seven Deadly Sins (formerly the Savage Seven): Cirie, Jag, Blue, Matt, Izzy, Felicia, and Jared. (fake alliance)
  8. For Real for Real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy.
  9. Showmance with Blue

CORY WURTENBERGER

  • Cory wants to keep Red and Cameron as numbers against Cirie’s coalition. The problem is Cirie’s side is planning on targeting this duo sooner rather than later.
  • Hisam and Cory have a conversation after the veto meeting where Cory tells Hisam multiple people told Cory about Hisam targeting him. Hisam denies it, and Cory says he’s open to more conversations during the week.
  • Cory and America have grown closer as allies, so Cory warns America about the information she tells others. As America is the only person in the house not aligned with Cirie, Cory wants her as an ally to work against Cirie’s group at some point. However, America keeps blowing up her game by telling Jag, for instance, information incriminating Cory and Jared, which later gets relayed to Cirie.
  • Cory’s best chance to advance in the game would be to align with Jag, as neither is in Cirie’s inner circle. Cory even jokes with Jag and America they should form an alliance called The Unreliables.
  • Though Cory isn’t part of the Seven Deadly Sins or the Legend 25 alliances, Cirie has been keeping him informed of all these alliances to keep up the ruse. Cirie wants to work with Cory long-term.
  • Cory is adamant about voting out Hisam and is relentless until his allies (mainly Cirie) decide to vote out Hisam.
  • Cory pushes for him and America to be included in the big alliances forming in the house, further integrating himself (and his final two) into the inner mechanics of Cirie’s group. However, due to America spilling information everywhere, her and Cory’s games are in danger as everyone is eyeing them as a dangerous duo.
  • On day 23, Cory competes in the Pressure Cooker competition, which is any superfan’s dream. Cory lasts around 12 hours before dropping out.
  • The last two in the Pressure Cooker are America and Cameron. In exchange for him not targeting America, Mecole, Matt, and Cory, America gives the competition to Cameron.
  • Cory tells Cameron that Izzy (and Cirie) considered flipping on him for the last two weeks. To cover his double agent role, Cory tells Izzy that Cameron is aware of the flip and might target her and her side.
  • Cory reveals to America about the Seven Deadly Sins alliance to make her stop trusting Jag. Cory also tells her about his brother Zach being on Survivor.
  • Unknown to Cory, Cirie has decided Cory has become too dangerous in the game. Cirie and Izzy want to target Red/Cameron first, followed by Cory.
  • While hanging out in the hammock, Cory, America, and Matt form a (fake) alliance called 3-Way Rats to work together in the future as they’re in the middle of Cirie’s group and Red/Cameron. Cory doesn’t know Matt doesn’t like America, so this alliance most likely won’t work out. Cory jokes with Jared about forming a four-person showmance alliance (Cory/America and Jared/Blue).
  • Cory’s alliances so far:
  1. Family Style: Jared, Matt, Reilly, Blue, Cameron, America, Cory, Jag. (extinct alliance) Still “working” with this side but knows he was on the outs alongside Jared.
  2. Mecory: has a deal with Mecole to look out for one another.
  3. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzie.
  4. Final two with Jared: Cory doesn’t plan to uphold it.
  5. Final two/Showmance with America: real deal for Cory
  6. For real for real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy.
  7. 3-Way/The Reliable Rats: Cory, America, and Matt.
