Nuku tribe member JT Thomas has become the fifth castaway to be voted out of Survivor: Game Changers.
The 31-year-old former Survivor: Tocantins winner was eliminated in a blindside vote after Nuku once again lost the immunity challenge. After costing his tribe last week by sharing information with Mana’s Brad Culpepper, JT was on the hot seat back at camp. Realizing that he needed some assurance of safety, JT went searching for the idol which he finally managed to find. Meanwhile, tension was brewing between JT and Michaela, which Sandra spurred on by eating the rest of the sugar and letting JT believe that Michaela was responsible.
When the Nuku tribe lost the immunity challenge, JT talked to the tribe about taking out Michaela, saying that he was tired of “babysitting” her. The group agreed that they needed him more for challenge strength. But Sandra had other plans; she approached Michaela and Jeff Varner about blindsiding JT, believing she could trust them more than JT and Aubry. At tribal council, JT was blindsided in a 3-2 vote, leaving with an idol in his pocket.

JT didn’t have an idol because he stupidly left it at camp (source: his final words). Words cannot express how unforgivably stupid that is -_-
I am not liking this season much at the moment. People I like keep going home. The only one I didn’t mind leaving was Ciera.
I’m really happy for Aubry that there’s a swap next week. If not nuku would’ve lost again for sure, and Aubry was the easy vote.
And JT, we will always have Tocatins, we will always have Tocatins.
