- This is the first time since Survivor 44 that the steal a vote advantage was acquired by a player.
Hidden Immunity Idol
- Rome is the first player to use a hidden immunity idol and negate at least one vote since Jake used his hidden immunity idol on Katurah in the finale episode of Survivor 45.
- Rome is the first player to use a hidden immunity idol in the third episode and play it for himself.
- Tai used his for Sierra in episode 3 of Game Changers.
- Michael used his for Stephanie J. in episode 3 of Ghost Island.
- Only men have played hidden immunity idols in episode 3.
Immunity Challenge – “O-Black Water”
- Variations of this challenge were used in Worlds Apart, Game Changers, and Survivor 46.
- All three times a blue team/tribe competed in this challenge, they won it.
- In Worlds Apart and Game Changers, it was used as a reward challenge, and the blue team won.
- In Survivor 47, it was used as a tribal immunity challenge, and Tuku won.

- Lavo is the only tribe so far to come in first, second, and last in the immunity challenge.
- They came in first place in the first immunity challenge, second place in the second immunity challenge, and last in the third immunity challenge.
- Gata came in first in the second and third immunity challenge and lost the first immunity challenge.
- Tuku came in second in the first and third immunity challenge and lost the second immunity challenge.
- They came in first place in the first immunity challenge, second place in the second immunity challenge, and last in the third immunity challenge.
- Gata is the only tribe not to have anyone sit out of a challenge so far.

- Rome had the most confessionals in this episode with 9.
- This is the first episode this season where the highest confessional count was a single-digit number.

Tribal Council
- Aysha was voted out 3-1-1-1.
- This was the first 3-1-1-1 vote in Survivor history.
- Aysha is the fourth Black woman to be voted out on day 7 in the new era.
- Survivor 43: Nneka was voted out on day 7.
- Survivor 44: Claire was voted out on day 7.
- Survivor 45: Sabiyah was voted out on day 7.
- With Jenny Kim being voted out on day 7 in Survivor 42, all five women voted out on day 7 in the new era are POC.
- Aysha is the fourth Black woman to place 16th in the new era.
- Survivor 42: Marya was voted out in 16th place.
- Survivor 43: Nneka was voted out in 16th place.
- Survivor 45: Sabiyah was voted out in 16th place.

- This is the first new era season where nobody was ineligible to vote during the first three tribal councils. Every new era season other than Survivor 47 had at least one tribal council in the first three tribals where a player was unable to vote.
- Survivor 41: Xander was unable to vote at the third tribal due to having the beware advantage.
- Survivor 42: Zach played his Shot in the Dark at the first tribal, Marya played her Shot in the Dark at the second tribal, Mike was unable to vote during the third tribal due to having the beware advantage, and Chanelle was unable to vote at the third tribal after losing her vote at the summit.
- Survivor 43: Dwight was unable to vote at the second tribal council after losing his vote at the summit.
- Survivor 44: Lauren banked her vote at the first tribal, Matthew & Jaime played their Shot in the Dark at the first tribal, Sarah was unable to vote at the second tribal after losing her vote at the summit, Matt was unable to vote at the third tribal after losing his vote at the summit, Claire played her Shot in the Dark at the third tribal.
- Survivor 45: Hannah quit at the first tribal, Brandon was unable to vote at the second tribal after losing his vote at the summit, and Sabiyah was unable to vote at the second and third tribals due to having the beware advantage/idol.
- Survivor 46: Jelinksy lost his vote at the summit and was unable to vote at the first tribal council, and Bhanu lost his vote at the summit and was unable to vote at the third tribal council.

- The third episode received 4.336 million viewers and 0.63 in the Adults 18-49 demo.
