Survivor: Game Changers

Power Rankings Round 6

Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor in power rankings for Survivor: Game Changers Episode 7.

While the castaways of Survivor: Game Changers fight it out on the islands of Fiji for the million dollar prize, another battle is taking place here on Inside Survivor. Former Survivor player and “Mother of Dragons” Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor’s Martin “Redmond” Holmes to determine the Inside Survivor Power Rankings champion.

Previously on Power Rankings…

In Round 5, Martin received 14 points for ranking Sandra in 14th place, while Michelle gained 9 points. That means the overall scores are Martin at 92 points and Michelle on 90 points. Things are very tight right now as we head into the final episode before the merge.

The Rules

We use the Gordon Holmes format of Power Rankings. Each week the two power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. The ranking of the player who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the rankers will earn. For example, if Troyzan is voted out in Episode 7, Michelle would receive 3 points and Martin would receive 2 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Survivor: Game Changers Power Rankings Champion.

1
Sierra
She was shown to be in a good alliance in the beginning, and now she's faded into the background. I'd say the editing alone implies she'll be around for a while longer.
1
Sierra
She has allies and a decent but not in-your-face edit. Plus we have to see that Legacy Advantage come into action at some point. Also, based on their lack of development last week, I don't see Mana losing. Sierra should be a sure thing to make the merge.
2
Sarah
Strong woman, starting to be seen strategizing a bit more. And now it appears that any heat on her tribe will be aimed at Tai, Varner, or Ozzy.
2
Troyzan
Despite being an underdog most of the season, Troyzan is in a great position. He's a wanted number and has an idol. Things would have to go tragically wrong for him to go out here.
3
Troyzan
He came into the swap with an idol and a brain and now has a solid alliance with a powerful player. I think he's sitting pretty for a bit.
3
Andrea
Even though I think Nuku are losing again, Andrea should be the safest on that tribe. Who is targeting her right now? You have challenge wizard Ozzy, sketchy Tai, an outcast in Varner, and a Cochran-fuelled Debbie. It doesn't make sense to cut Andrea at this point.
4
Andrea
Like Sarah, I think there are just so many bigger targets on her tribe.
4
Sarah
Similar to Andrea, I don't think Sarah stands out as an obvious target. She's shown she can play a stealthy game, remain aware of her surroundings, and look out for her own best interests.
5
Michaela
I just don't think people are looking at her right now, and to be honest, they don't really know how much of a challenge beast she is so she'll probably be safe till merge.
5
Brad
His edit is one of the best, and while I do recognize he could be set up as the shock downfall, I don't think it would happen just yet. He should make the merge, if only to reunite with Debbie!
6
Cirie
She's another who really hasn't been in the picture enough to wonder if she's an oncoming target. Still pleasant and likable, let's keep her around. I also don't see her making the kind of moves that win the game, and that's exactly the kind of person you don't vote out.
6
Zeke
When it comes to Nuku, Zeke is just under Andrea and Sarah. He isn't the obvious threat on that camp, although leading the charge against Sandra last week might have caused him to become one. But, right now he's in the numbers.
7
Brad
He's still playing SUCH a great game. He and Troyzan also seem very able to navigate a tribe of women. I think if ish hits the fan it'll more likely be between the women, not the men.
7
Hali
Hali has connections with the old Manas and the newer Manas. She could be a swing vote if the tribe breaks down into Brad/Sierra/Troy vs. Cirie/Aubry/Michaela. Although sometimes the swing ends up getting chopped themselves.
8
Zeke
There's a lot going on around him, and he is meddling in the trouble quite a bit... will he be able to dodge the crossfire or could this be his unraveling?
8
Cirie
Cirie's edit has gone really quiet, which probably means she'll be fine this week, but with Brad saying he had no connection with her, there is a possibility she becomes a target if Mana lose.
9
Aubry
Not a good track record so far. We're just gonna have to wait and see what happens next.
9
Michaela
Her edit was also quiet last week, so she should be safe, but if Mana does lose there is always a chance the tribe targets her as "the unknown."
10
Hali
Brad seems to distrust Hali still, and I could see him using that to his advantage on this new tribe as well.
10
Ozzy
With the merge approaching, now is a perfect time to cut Ozzy before he can go on an immunity run. But will it happen? The preview threw his name out which is likely a red herring. I'll still rank him relatively low just in case, but I think he'll be okay.
11
Tai
Yes, I know he has TWO IDOLS right now. That's impressive. BUT he's also SOOO trusting. He just might not play them when he needs to.
11
Debbie
After surviving the love boat with Cochran, Debbie is returning to a new tribe. She also has advantages, but will that make her even more delusional? Edit wise I think she makes the merge to meet back up with Brad, but just because she's Debbie I feel putting her low is always a safe option.
12
Ozzy
I don't think he's actually going home yet, but his name is definitely on the chopping block and in a game with such big moves, getting him out of the game at this point would be one of the biggest. Watch out!
12
Aubry
Like I said, I don't think Mana will lose, but just in case they do, I think Aubry could be the most obvious target. She wasn't close with the original Manas, plus she's a known threat, and the Kaoh Rong 3 thing is looming. If Brad is looking for numbers, he could probably corral them against Aubry.
13
Debbie
Oh Debbie. *facepalm* PLEASE take Cochran's advice. Congrats on her getting that advantage and that food and probably some decent sleep... but will she stay overconfident? An extra vote is NOT equivalent to an immunity idol. It'll be interesting to see how she uses it and also how she integrates with this new tribe.
13
Tai
With two idols in his pocket, Tai shouldn't be going anywhere. And I think he's more switched on than given credit for (by both fans and the edit). However, so far all the big characters with great edits have gone home. Could Tai be the latest victim of the huge character purge?
14
Jeff
Even though we have gotten glimpses of his possible breakthrough next week, it seems that people have been voting true to their original alliances this game. As we saw in the last episode, even when voting out Tai seemed like a good option they all stuck to their guns and voted out Sandra. I'll hate to see Jeff leave.
14
Jeff
For all the swaps and twists, so far this season has stuck down tribal lines. For that reason, I can't see many options for Jeff should Nuku lose this week. His best bet would be to buddy up to Tai and hope he gets an idol played on him. But sadly, I think Jeff is going to miss the jury once again.
