Survivor: Game Changers

Power Rankings Round 12

Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor in power rankings for Survivor: Game Changers finale.

For the final time this season, former Survivor player and “Mother of Dragons” Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor’s Martin “Redmond” Holmes to determine the Inside Survivor Power Rankings champion.

Previously on Power Rankings…

In Round 11, Michelle received 14 points for ranking Andrea in 7th place and Michaela last (bumped up to 7th after first elimination). Martin received 11 points. That means the overall scores are Martin at 160 points and Michelle at 158 points. It truly is anyone’s game to win!

The Finale Rules

We use the Gordon Holmes format of Power Rankings. Each week the power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. However, the finale works a little bit differently. The rankers will rank the six finalists in order of placement, and they will gain 2 points for every correct placement. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Survivor: Game Changers Power Rankings Champion.

Brad
This was a tough decision. Based solely on the edits, I feel like the winner is between Brad and Sarah. Early in the season Brad was shown to be playing really well and painted in a really good light with all his relationships but recently he's shown as the underdog. I think that's a perfect scenario from which to emerge as the winner.
1
Sarah
Oh man. I've been going back and forth on Sarah or Brad for weeks now. I'm confident based on the edit that both will make F3, but who will prevail in the end? I'm hesitantly leaning towards Sarah, simply because the Brad tantrum wasn't a good look last week. Ugh..it's gonna be Brad, isn't it?
2
Tai
This late in the game and still two idols?!? Wow. We haven't seen very much strategy from him which I think will be an important aspect of the winner's resume this year. At the end of last week's episode, we saw Brad (with Troyzan) look at Tai after the vote and say something like "Cirie and Aubry just voted for you!" And Tai nodded. I think this just brought the three of them closer and secured Tai's spot in the Final 3.

Brad
If Mr. Culpepper isn't winning, then he must be runner-up. His edit doesn't really make sense to finish anywhere but winner or runner-up. People might just respect Sarah's more commanding game.
3
Troyzan
Still has an idol and is now part of the "in" group. I don't think people realize how much of a pair Brad and Troyzan are and I wonder if Troyzan doesn't realize how much of a threat (and therefore a winner) Brad is.
3
Troyzan
This one is tough too! It was between Troy or Tai, but honestly, why would anyone be bothered to take Troy out before the finals? He's the ideal person to sit next to at the end. Plus he has an idol, so that's going to save him for at least one vote.
4
Sarah
She's got the legacy advantage which SHOULD secure her past 6th place. She also voted with Brad and Troyzan last week which I think will continue for two more votes (at most!). But then I think everyone will turn their sights toward her. She also got a less than perfect edit last episode which implies to me that the "Sarah arc" is coming to a close.
4
Tai
The preview wants us to think Tai is giving away his idols, but that could be a classic misdirect. With two idols, Tai should be able to secure his spot in the Final 4. But if he busts out two idols back-to-back, that is quite a resume builder, and I'm not sure anyone would want him in the F3 at that point.
5
Aubry
She was telling the truth when she tried to save Sarah... But it backfired. Yikes. Poor girl is just always on the wrong side of the vote!
5
Cirie
Cirie put a big old target on her back after last week's mishap with the Vote Steal. I do think she'll use her incredible skills to dodge one more vote-off, though. But I can't see anyone wanting to take Cirie much further than that.
6
Cirie
It was between Aubry or Cirie for this spot because they are on the outs. Cirie seems to have been very prominent in the deception that took place (especially with Tai!! Holy cow! That would have been an awesome move!) But I think it really painted a bullseye on her back.
6
Aubry
I've felt that Aubry is going to be an idol victim for a while, hence her quiet edit. With three idols in play and the Legacy Advantage, I think the final six tribal could be a chaotic one, and Aubry is a likely victim.
