It’s appropriate that Big Brother‘s tagline is “expect the unexpected” because I certainly didn’t expect to be covering the show on Inside Survivor this year. Then again, I didn’t expect a virus pandemic to shut down Survivor and deprive us of a new season this fall. But here we are!
That’s right, for the first time ever, we’ve decided to cover Big Brother here on Inside Survivor. As mentioned above, this is in large part due to no new Survivor for the rest of the year, meaning there is a big reality-tv shaped hole in our hearts. It will keep the site ticking over in these slow months. Plus, with Big Brother 22 being an All-Stars edition, it seemed like a fun season to kick-off our coverage.
There is undoubtedly a sizable crossover audience between Survivor and Big Brother. Still, we also hope that Survivor fans who have never watched Big Brother before will check it out and follow along with our coverage.
What will our coverage entail?
There will be a dedicated Inside Big Brother section on the site where you will find all our All-Stars coverage. This includes weeklies similar to our Survivor write-ups: episode recaps, stats, power rankings, and possibly more!
The Power Rankings will see former Survivor runner-up Chrissy Hofbeck taking on Big Brother 21‘s Ovi Kabir in a battle of the reality-shows.
Here’s a rough schedule of what to expect:
Mondays – Nominations Episode Recap by Ali Shields
Thursdays – Veto Episode Recap by Daniel Kennedy
Fridays – Eviction Episode Recap by Gia Worthy / Power Rankings
Saturday – Big Brother Stats by Rob Brodeur

For those Survivor fans not interested in Big Brother, don’t worry! There will still be Survivor content on the site as usual. We have more 20 Years of Survivor pieces in the pipeline, and we’ll continue to keep you updated on all the latest Season 41 news.
