Our resident stat man Rob Brodeur isn’t just a font of Survivor knowledge; he’s also a long-time Big Brother fan, which means each week he will be on hand with all the latest stats for this All-Stars season.
We’re kicking things off early with some overall stats related to the All-Stars cast, which was revealed live tonight on Big Brother 22‘s season premiere.
Season
- This is the 8th season with returning players.
- Big Brother 7: the first All-Stars with all returning players.
- Big Brother 11: Jesse returned from Big Brother 10 for the “clique” twist.
- Big Brother 13: Rachel & Brendon (Big Brother 12), Dick & Daniele (Big Brother 8), and Jeff & Jordan (Big Brother 11) returned for the Dynamic Duos twist.
- Big Brother 14: Dan (Big Brother 10), Britney (Big Brother 12), Janelle (Big Brother 6 & 7), and Boogie (Big Brother 2 & 7) returned as coaches who were later added to the game.
- Big Brother 18: Da’Vonne & James (Big Brother 17), Nicole (Big Brother 18), and Frank (Big Brother 14) returned as team captains.
- Big Brother 19: Paul returned from Big Brother 18.
- Big Brother OTT: Jason returned from Big Brother 17 and was voted in by fans.
- This is the first regular Big Brother season to do a live move-in.
- Big Brother: OTT was an online-exclusive season and also had a live move-in.
- Big Brother seasons 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, & 21 are all represented on this season.
- The only regular Big Brother seasons not represented this season are 1-5, 9, & 15.
- Big Brother US is the first Big Brother franchise to air 22 seasons (that don’t include celebrities, online, etc).
- Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this season is airing the latest of any regular summer season of Big Brother, with the premiere date being August 5th.
- This is the first season since Big Brother 14 to air later than June.
- Big Brother 1-14 (with the exception of Big Brother 9, which aired in the winter) was aired in the month of July, while Big Brother 15-21 aired in the month of June.
Cast
- The average placement for players this season is 5.5.
- Taking each player’s highest placement into account, the average highest placement for this season is 4.8.
- Ian has the highest average placement with 1.
- David has the lowest average placement with 16.
- David is the only first boot to return to play Big Brother.
- Brian Hart, the first boot from Big Brother 10, was in contention to return for Big Brother 11 as a member of the “Brain” clique, but that clique didn’t win the challenge.
- David is the only first boot to return to play Big Brother.
- Nicole F and Kaysar were evicted and came back by winning the re-entry competition/vote in their first seasons.
- Nicole F and Janelle were on The Amazing Race season 31.
- They raced with Victor and Britney, respectively.
- Bayleigh and Da’Vonne have competed in seasons of The Challenge on MTV.

- Enzo is the oldest player this season; he’s 42.
- Kaysar has the longest gap between seasons, last appearing in season 7, which was 14 years ago.
- Kaysar and Janelle have played all three seasons together.
- They’re also the only players to be on both seasons of All-Stars.
- They both had the same placement in Big Brother 6 and Big Brother 7.
- Kaysar was 10th place in both seasons, while Janelle was 3rd place in both seasons.
- Janelle is the only person to play Big Brother four times.
- Half of the players this season have either won or been runner-up for the America’s Favorite Houseguest prize.
- Janelle, Keesha, Tyler, & Nicole A were previously voted America’s Favorite Houseguest during the finale of their seasons.
- Enzo was runner-up for the prize in Big Brother 12, Daniele was runner-up in Big Brother 13, Ian was runner-up in Big Brother 14, Nicole F was runner-up in Big Brother 16.

Nominations
- Janelle has the most nominations of anyone this season with 12.
- Janelle, Memphis, & Nicole F have the highest average times being nominated with 4.
- David is the only player who was never nominated for eviction.
- He was eliminated first by losing the Hit the Road competition, then permanently eliminated due to him losing the Camp Comeback challenge.
POV (Power of Veto)
- Janelle has the most POV wins of anyone else this season with 7.
- Cody, Memphis, & Tyler have the highest average of POV wins with 3 each.
- Bayleigh, Christmas, David, Da’Vonne, & Kaysar have never previously won a POV competition.
Eviction
- Ian is the only player this season who’s never been previously evicted.
- Kaysar and Janelle have been evicted 3 times each.
- The only other players to be evicted 3 times are Brendon Villegas and Victor Arroyo.
- Kaysar was evicted twice in Big Brother 6 and once in Big Brother 7.
- He failed to make it to the jury on both seasons.

No mention of Dani and her POV or HOH wins.
I definitely missed the POV stuff, but there isn’t really anything trivia worthy of her HOHs in relation to the other stuff I posted.
Christmas won a power of veto to say her self that is why she was in the final three with Paul and josh
Christmas never won POV. Paul was HOH and won the final POV competition and kept noms the same (Josh & Kevin), which gave Christmas the sole vote to evict as she wasn’t nominated.
Memphis, Cody and Tyler have also never been evicted, plus Ian.
