Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Power Rankings Round 5

Survivor: Kaôh Rōng is underway and so are the Inside Survivor Power Rankings. Each week, I (Martin “Redmond” Holmes) will test my mettle against Survivor veterans Jeff Varner and Kelley Wentworth.

In Round 4, Martin won with 14 points for ranking Alecia in 14th place. Kelley and Jeff came in joint second with 13 points each (no points were awarded for Caleb’s medevac). Martin still currently leads overall with 50 points, Kelley follows closely behind with 45 and Jeff is trailing with 27.

The Rules

Each week the three power rankers will create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. The ranking of the player who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the three rankers will earn. For example, if Scot was voted out in Episode 5, Jeff would receive 13 points, Kelley would receive 10 points and Martin would receive 9 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Power Rankings Champion.

Bonuses:

If the player ranked in 1st place finds an idol you gain 10 points.
If the player ranked in last place isn’t eliminated but receives a vote(s) against them you gain 5 points.
If the player ranked in 1st place wins individual immunity you gain 10 points (post-merge).

1. Swaps change everything, so this week, I’m throwing out logic and going with my gut. I’m officially feeling the power of the pants.	1. An idol would fit nicely in those pants. #SnakeInIdolPants	1. Things seem to looking up for Neal in the preview. Bring me home some Brainy bonus points Ice Cream Man!
2. My coloring kin will be non-threatening and smart about her choices.	2. Sadly he’ll no longer be waking up to the letters “BMC” imprinted on his back. So the question is, who will be his Big Spoon now?	2. He may be small but he’s packing heat. And heat may be the biggest factor in this game.
3. I find her smart, polished and poised to win.	3. He said he’s not trying to be a d**k. I don’t think he has to try.	3. Now that “Blondie” has gone he’ll be looking for a new punching bag. So look out Four-Eyes, Wrinkles and Coney Pants.
4. Pretty and protected. Unassuming and not a physical threat.	4. *CAUTION* Too hot to handle.	4. Easy going. Won’t go easy.
5. See Michele.	5. Have you ever played Hide & Seek for so long that you just gave up looking? I give up, Michele. You can come out now.	5. Not on the radar of the players… or the editors.
6. I’m dropping him a little this week. Loved his compassion for Cydney. But producers are making him the bully for a reason. He could be too aggressive for the non-brawns.	6. List 5 things you know about her… *crickets*	6. As long as nobody messes with her recuperation time, she should be fine, and could become an important swing vote.
7. His heart trumps his strategy. Not a massive threat.	7. And she’s in the running for fewest confessionals in the first 5 episodes of any season. Oh wait, I played in SJDS.	7. If she’s separated from Debbie and Joe she could find herself on the outs of a new tribe. But she might appear non-threatening enough to avoid a target.
8. She’ll be very threatening come merge time.	8. Swap’s a-comin’. Will she sink or swim if she’s without her two sidekick Beauties?	8. She clearly wears the pants in the girl’s alliance. Not sure about the shirt (now on sale). Could be the victim of the swap or Tai’s idol.
9. Four episodes in and we know nothing about him. S31’s Monica Padilla minus the game moves.	9. We can add “roasting from the inside” to her list of life experiences.	9. He’s made it to Day 12. Is that more game time than his entire NBA career?
10. I’m approaching worship status of this one. My love is growing.	10. I wonder if he had a horrible encounter with a cheerleader at one point in his life. Sometimes yah just gotta let the past go…	10. [Ranking space for sale. All entries welcome.]
11. Strategy unknown. Fate depends on the swap.	11. He needs a swap almost as much as he needs that beer.	11. Are we sure one of her job titles isn’t high school biology teacher? I’ve learned so much about the anatomy of the human brain from her. Not sure her new tribemates will be as willing students though.
12. See Peter.	12. Just landed the leading role in Casper, the Island Ghost.	12. He’s thirsty for revenge but in a season of dehydration, I don’t think that thirst is going to be quenched.
13. See Joe.	13. From cranky fella to sweet caretaker. Never know what you’re gonna get out of this one, but I have such a soft spot for this salty haired Papa Bear.	13. Swap week is a crap shoot so I’m just putting Joe at the bottom as an easy target for a cautious new tribe.
