Episode 11 Stats

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Game Changers.

Vote-out

  • Zeke was voted out 5-3-2.
    • Last season he was also voted out with five votes.
  • Episode 10 was the only post-merge episode where Zeke didn’t receive a vote against him.
  • Zeke holds the record for the most votes against someone in this season with 11.
  • Three of the four players voted out post-merge so far this season has been voted out by someone they’ve played with before.
    • Hali was voted out by Sierra.
    • Debbie was voted out by Aubry.
    • Zeke was voted out by Michaela.
      • Michaela voted for Zeke three out of the four post-merge tribal councils they attended together.
  • Since JT was voted out, the vote outs have alternated between female and male.
    • JT, Sandra, Jeff, Hali, Ozzy, Debbie, Zeke.
  • Nobody that has been voted out this season so far has beaten their previous best placement.

Tribal Council

  • Each person voted out so far has voted out the previous person on the jury.
    • Ozzy voted out Hali.
    • Debbie voted out Ozzy.
    • Zeke voted out Debbie.
  • Only females voted for Zeke this episode and only males voted for Sierra.
  • This is the first post-merge tribal council where there were no new votes, everyone that got a vote this round received votes in at least one previous tribal council.
  • This was the first time Tai got more than two votes against him at a single tribal council.
  • This is the first time Andrea wasn’t voted out in the first week of May.
    • In Redemption Island, she was voted out at the final six on May 4th, 2011.
    • In Caramoan, she was voted out at the final seven on May 1, 2013.

Confessionals

  • Sarah had the most confessionals again this episode with seven.
    • She now has the most confessionals of those still in the game with 29, passing Cirie.
  • Troyzan was the only person not to get a confessional this episode.
    • This is his sixth episode this season without a confessional.

Tribes/Castaways

  • Aubry and Tai are the only players left that have played in a previous season together.

Reward Challenge – “Angry Chair.”

  • Andrea has won every post-merge reward challenge so far this season.
    • Andrea/her tribe also has only lost one reward the entire season, in Episode 4.
  • Michaela and Cirie are the only ones who haven’t won a post-merge reward challenge.
  • Michaela and Zeke have previously competed in this challenge in Millennials vs. Gen X.
    • Zeke has won both times, while Michaela only won it last season.

Immunity Challenge – “High Step & Stack.”

  • This challenge has previously been seen in Gabon, Redemption Island, Blood vs. Water, and Kaoh Rong.
    • Aubry and Tai have competed in this challenge twice, and have lost both times.
  • This is the first time Andrea has won individual immunity twice in one season.
    • She’s the first person to win individual immunity multiple times this season.

Overall Records

  • Cirie has made it to 114 days played, matching Parvati’s previous record. She will surpass Parvati in the next episode. 

Ratings

Episode Title

  • The episode title “Reinventing How This Game is Played” was the answer to the reward challenge puzzle.

  1. Andrea and Cirie are the only players left to have competed in more than one prior season.

    Brad, Michaela, and Sarah are all assured to beat their previous placements. Aubry, Tai, and Cirie will not unless any of them either win or get the second most votes.

      • True enough. She officially placed third in Micronesia, meaning she would have to get the second most votes to win at the final tribal at least in order to place second.

  3. Aubry must win to better her previous placement, while Tai and Cirie have to reach the final and receive enough runner up votes to better theirs.
