Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Winners At War.

Tribal Council

  • Tyson was voted out 5-2-0.
    • Denise had 2 votes against her, but Kim played an idol for her negating those votes.
      • Denise has had 6 votes negated by hidden immunity idols this season.
      • Denise is the only player to have votes negated by a hidden immunity idol this season.
    • This was the first 5-2-2 vote in Survivor history.
  • Of the four original Sele members at tribal council, the only ones able to vote were Ben and Michele.
    • They both voted for Tyson.
    • Jeremy and Denise weren’t able to vote due to advantages.
      • Both of these advantages were sold by Natalie.
  • Sarah and Tony successfully voted out Tyson twice this season.
  • Sarah is the first player to have a vote steal in two different seasons, and she’s the first player to successfully play the vote steal twice (the player she voted for was voted out).
    • Stephen Fishbach is the only player to have a vote steal and not successfully vote someone out with it.
      • Sarah successfully used hers twice.
      • Nick used his successfully in David vs. Goliath.
  • Tyson was one day away from making it to 100 days played in-game.
  • Tyson is the fourth player to be eliminated/voted out more than three times. The other players are as follows:
    • Andrea Boehlke – voted out twice in Redemption Island, once in Caramoan, and once in Game Changers.
    • Cirie Fields – voted out once in Panama, Micronesia, Heroes vs. Villains, and Game Changers.
    • Ozzy Lusth – voted out once in Micronesia and Game Changers and three times in South Pacific.
  • Denise and Jeremy have been immune from being voted out together three times this season.
    • They were both immune after Denise played idols in episode 6.
    • They both won individual immunity in episode 8.
    • Jeremy used his advantage to leave tribal and Denise had an idol played for her in episode 10.
      • In fact, they’ve been immune together at the same time for the entire season, as they have been on the same tribe since the beginning. So anytime Jeremy has been immune, Denise has also been immune and vice versa.
  • This season, Tyson was the second person eliminated from his starting tribe and was the third person eliminated from the merged tribe.
    • He was the second person eliminated from his starting tribe in Heroes vs. Villains.
    • He was the third person eliminated from the merged tribe in Tocantins.
  • This was the first episode this season where Kim didn’t vote with the majority.
    • She voted for Denise when Sandra was eliminated, but it was the majority before Denise played her idol.
  • Both advantages used in this episode (Vote Steal and Safety Without Power) were sold to the castaways by Natalie who was on the Edge of Extinction.
    • All three advantages that Natalie has sold are now out of the game.
      • She sold an idol to Sandra, who then gave the idol to Denise. Denise played the idol and voted out Sandra.
      • Sarah stole Denise’s vote, she split her two votes between Denise & Tyson.
      • Jeremy used the Safety Without Power advantage and was able to leave tribal council.
  • Tyson is the seventh player to be voted out multiple times in one season. The others are as follows:
    • Burton Roberts in Pearl Islands.
    • Matt Elrod & Andrea Boehlke in Redemption Island.
    • Ozzy Lusth in South Pacific.
    • Laura Morett & Tina Wesson in Blood vs Water.
      • Burton and Matt are the only ones who have played in only one Survivor season.
      • Rick Devens was eliminated twice in Edge of Extinction, but the second time he lost was via the fire-making challenge, not a vote out.
  • Ben is the only player who has a perfect voting record this season (everyone he voted for was voted out).
  • Ben, Jeremy, Michele, and Tony have 0 votes against them.
    • Tony is the only original Dakal member to have 0 votes against him.
    • Every woman on Dakal has at least one vote against them.
  • Sophie got her first votes this season in this episode.

Family Visit

  • This is the first time that there was no challenge during the Loved Ones visit.
  • This is the first family visit where players were able to have more than two loved ones visit.
  • Nadiya’s daughter (Natalie’s niece) is the youngest person to be a loved one on Survivor, being only 6 months old.
  • Despite playing in four seasons, this is Tyson’s first time participating in a family visit.
    • He was voted out before the Loved Ones challenge in both Tocantins and Heroes vs. Villains, and there was no Loved Ones challenge in Blood vs. Water.
  • Rachel Foulger, John Fincher, and Nadiya Anderson are the 4th, 5th, and 6th people to play Survivor then return as a loved one in a subsequent season. The others are as follows:
    • Dale Wentworth – Played in San Juan del Sur with Kelley and returned as her loved one in Cambodia.
    • Val Collins – Played in San Juan del Sur with Jeremy and returned as his loved one in Cambodia & Winners at War.
    • Monica Culpepper – Played in Blood vs. Water with Brad and returned as his loved one in Game Changers.
    • Rachel Foulger – Played in Blood vs. Water with Tyson and returned as his loved one in Winners at War.
    • Nadiya Anderson – Played in San Juan del Sur with Natalie and returned as her loved one in Winners at War.
    • John Fincher – Played in Samoa and returned as Parvati’s loved one in Winners at War.
      • Laura Boneham and Katie Collins were loved ones for Rupert Boneham and Tina Wesson, respectively, and later played with their loved ones in Blood vs. Water.
  • This episode’s family visit has the most former players, with four.
    • John, Nadiya, Rachel, and Val previously played Survivor.
      • Val is the first former player to appear as a loved one twice.
      • John is the only former player who returned as a loved one that didn’t play a season with his loved one.
      • John is also the only one of them to never compete in a Blood vs. Water themed season.
      • Laura Boneham was Rupert’s Loved One in All-Stars and Heroes vs. Villains and then competed with him after on Blood vs. Water.
  • Nick is the only player still in the game who’s previously won the Loved Ones challenge.
    • He won with Angelina in David vs. Goliath.
    • Rob and Parvati (who are both on the Edge of Extinction) have also previously won the Loved Ones challenge. Rob won in All-Stars and Parvati won in Cook Islands.
  • Michele is the only player left in the game this season who has never been on a previous season that featured a Loved Ones challenge/visit.
    • There was no Loved Ones challenge/visit in Fiji, Samoa, Blood vs. Water, San Juan del Sur, and Kaoh Rong.
    • Natalie also has never previously been on a season with a Loved Ones visit.
  • Sandra revealed on Twitter that she also had her family visit her while she was at Ponderosa.
    • This is the first season where everyone on the cast got to see their loved ones during the season.

Hidden Immunity Idol/Advantage

  • Kim has been in possession of two hidden immunity idols in Survivor and played neither of them for herself.
    • She didn’t use the one she found in One World.
    • She played on for Denise in this episode.

Immunity Challenge – “A Bit Tipsy”

  • This was Tony’s first immunity win in three seasons.
  • This challenge was previously seen in Blood vs. Water, San Juan del Sur, Kaôh Rōng, Game Changers, and Edge of Extinction.
    • Tyson has played and won this challenge before.
    • Michele and Sarah played this challenge before but lost.
  • Only post swap Dakal players have won immunity.
    • Every post-swap Dakal member who made it to the merge has won individual immunity this season.

Edge of Extinction/Fire Tokens

  • Tyson is the first player to be voted out and not will fire tokens to anyone (he didn’t have any to give away).
  • Tyson is the first player to be sent to the Edge of Extinction twice.
    • Rick who returned from the Edge in Edge of Extinction was eliminated in 4th place.
    • Chris who returned from the Edge in Edge of Extinction won the season.
  • Denise, Nick, and Tony have the most fire tokens with 3.
    • Parvati (on Edge of Extinction) also has 3 fire tokens.
      • She used one of her fire tokens to buy peanut butter (shown in a secret scene).
  • Michele is the only player in the game with 0 fire tokens.

Confessionals

  • Sarah had the most confessionals this episode with 4.
  • Denise, Michele, and Nick had the least confessionals with 0.
  • Everyone on the Edge of Extinction had a confessional except for Danni.

Ratings

Episode Title

  • The episode title “The Full Circle” was said by Ben and Jeff during the family visit.
