Episode 7 Stats

Rob Brodeur looks at the latest stats from the seventh episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Vote-out

  • Michaela was voted out 4-2.
  • Michelle, Will, Jay, and David are the only four people this season that have correctly voted for the person that went home at each tribal council they’ve attended.
  • Six of the seven people voted out this season have been women.
    • All of the women of color have been voted out pre-merge.
    • Jessica, Sunday, Hannah, and Michelle are the only women left.
  • All three post-swap votes have resulted in someone from the “majority” being voted out.
      • Vanua had a Gen X majority; CeCe was voted out. David was one of the votes against her.
      • Takali had a Millennial majority; Figgy was voted out. Adam was one of the votes against her.
      • Ikabula had a Millennial majority; Michaela was voted out. Jay was one of the votes against her.

Confessionals

  • Jay had the most confessionals this episode with five.
  • Ken was the only person not to receive a confessional this episode.

Tribes

  • All three tribes have lost an immunity challenge in the post-swap phase of the game.

Reward Challenge – “Matt Finish.”

  • The challenge was named after and based on the training program of professional volleyball player Matt Olson. He spends hours a day taking a volleyball and perching it up on a high rafter.  

Immunity Challenge – “Bail Out.”

  • This challenge is a new one designed for this season, but it takes parts from challenges seen in previous seasons.
    • Part 1: Shooting coconuts into a net basket has been seen in Micronesia, Samoa, and Caramoan.
    • Part 2: Decoding the numbers puzzle has been seen in many different challenges in various combinations.
    • Part 3: Knocking down targets with a giant slingshot has been seen in Worlds Apart and Cambodia.

Ratings

  • Episode 7 received 6.93 million viewers and 1.6/5 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share. This is one of the all-time low ratings for a Survivor episode but it was up against the final game of the World Series.

Title

  • The episode title “I Will Destroy You” was said by Taylor Stocker who declared revenge on Adam Klein for voting out Figgy in the previous episode.

  1. I think Michelle also voted correctly at every tribal (Mari and Cece)

    Michelle, Jay and Will have all attended 2 tribals and voted correctly each time. David has been to 4 and voted correctly each time.
