Tribal Council
- Patrick was voted out 4-1.
- He received a vote from every person on his starting tribe, as Simone voted for him at the previous tribal council.
- He’s the sixth person to get votes from everyone on his tribe but not be voted out at their first tribal council. Others are as follows:
- Shii-Ann Huang – Thailand
- Ashley Massaro – China
- Gillian Larson – Gabon
- J’Tia Taylor – Cagayan
- Alecia Holden – Kaoh Rong
- Patrick is the only male that this has happened to.
- Three of these people were on a red tribe when this occurred. (Gillian, Alecia, Patrick)

- Every vote so far has been unanimous.
- Only three other seasons also had three unanimous votes up to this point, Guatemala, Tocantins, and Philippines.
- The two people to receive votes in this episode were the oldest man (Patrick) and oldest woman (Lauren) on the Hustlers tribe.
- Every season filmed in Fiji has had a male as the third boot, except for Survivor: Fiji, in which Sylvia Kwan was third boot.

Tribes
- Last time there was a blue/red/yellow starting tribe season (Kaoh Rong), the yellow tribe also didn’t go to tribal at all before the tribe swap. Also, the blue tribe only went to one tribal, and the red tribe went to the others.
Confessionals
- Chrissy, JP, & Mike had 0 confessionals this episode.
- Lauren had the most confessionals this episode with 6.
- She had more confessionals this episode than the entire Heroes tribe combined.
Immunity Challenge – “Block in a Hard Place”
- This is the first challenge in which the Heroes tribe has finished in first place.
- This is also the first challenge in which the Healers tribe did not get first place.
- A variation of this challenge was previously seen in Samoa and Kaoh Rong.
- Every time this challenge was used, a yellow tribe competed in it.

- Episode 3 received 8.02 million viewers and 1.7/7 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share.

- The episode title “My Kisses Are Very Private” was said by Jessica when discussing giving Cole a kiss on the cheek.
