Tribal Council
- Simone was voted out 5-1.
- Both votes this season have been unanimous so far.
- Simone is the second person on a red tribe to take an “aqua dump” in the same episode they were eliminated.
- The first was Darnell Hamilton in Kaoh Rong.
- Stacy Kimball and Michelle Yi are the only Asian women to make it to the merge in a season filmed in Fiji.
- Sylvia Kwan (Fiji), Rachel Ako, Mari Takahashi, Lucy Huang (Millennials vs. Gen X) Simone Nguyen (Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers) were all voted out pre-merge.
- Tony Vlachos in Game Changers is the only male to be second boot in a season filmed in Fiji.
- Erica Durousseau in Fiji.
- Mari Takahashi in Millennials vs. Gen X.
- Simone Nguyen in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
- Each of these women are minorities.
- Both Simone and Katrina were alphabetically the last person on the tribe going by first names.
- They were also both the person on the far right in the official individual tribe photos.
- Patrick is the first male to receive a vote against him this season.
Tribes
- Of the four seasons that filmed in Fiji, two seasons had different tribes lose the first and second immunity challenge, while the other two seasons had the same tribe lose the first and second immunity challenge.
- Ravu lost the first two in Fiji, Mana lost the first two in Game Changers.
- Takali lost the first one and Vanua lost the second one in Millennials vs. Gen X. Levu lost the first one and Yawa lost the second one in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
- Coincidentally, both of those seasons were “vs” seasons.
Confessionals
- Ali, Ryan, & Simone had the most confessionals this episode with 4 each.
- This is Ryan’s second episode in a row with the highest confessional count.
- Desi, Jessica, Mike & Roark had 0 confessionals this episode.
- Mike is the only male from the Healers tribe to not have any confessionals this episode.
- None of the females on the Healers tribe got a confessional this episode
Hidden Immunity Idol
- Joe found the 79th hidden immunity idol.
- He is another bald person to find an idol.
- Others include James Clement in China, Russell Hantz, Tony Vlachos, Jeremy Collins, Tai Trang, David Wright, etc.
- He is another bald person to find an idol.
- Since Cambodia, only men have found a hidden immunity idol.
- Kelley Wentworth was the most recent female to find one.
Immunity Challenge – “Crossroads”
- This is another new challenge created for this season.
- The locations on the signposts in the puzzle portion are previous filming locations for Survivor.
- Locations that were included in the puzzle were Australia, Borneo, Cambodia, China, Gabon, Kenya, Nicaragua, Palau, Panama, Philippines, Samoa, & Vanuatu.
- Not included were Brazil, Cook Islands, Fiji (because this season was filmed there), Guatemala, Marquesas, & Thailand.
- The locations on the signposts in the puzzle portion are previous filming locations for Survivor.

- Episode 2 received 8.15 million viewers and 1.6/6 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share.
Episode Title
- The episode title “I’m a Wild Banshee” was said by Patrick when describing his crazy personality.
