Tribal Council
- Lauren was voted out 1-0.
- Ben played a hidden immunity idol negating six votes against him.
- Lauren is the first person to be voted out by only one vote and have it not happen at the Final Three.
- This episode had the largest cancelled vote percentage of any Survivor episode with 85.7% (6 out of 7) of the votes being cancelled.
- Lauren has only received three votes against her this season, but each vote was at a different tribal council.
- She got one vote at the Episode 3 tribal.
- She got one vote at the Episode 8 tribal.
- She got one vote at the Eepisode 11 tribal.
- Each time she received a vote, her vote was against the person that voted for her.
- Lauren is the first person to have an extra vote advantage and not use it.
Tribes
- Lauren is the first Hustler to be voted out since Ali in Episode 6.
- The only women left this season (Ashley & Chrissy) are from the original Heroes tribe.
- Both of them are the only individual immunity winners that have not been voted out yet.
- Two people from each post swap tribe are remaining in the game.

- In the last three episodes one person from each original starting tribe was eliminated, and also each post-swap tribe had one person eliminated.

Hidden Immunity Idol
- Ben played the fifth hidden immunity idol this season.
- His idol is the first one this season that negated more than two votes.
- He’s the first person in Survivor history to negate every single vote other than his own with an idol.
- There are no longer any idols in anyone’s possession as they’ve all been used or “unused.”
- The only idols to have been played this season so far have been by men.
- Chrissy’s first episode “super idol” wasn’t played.
- Lauren’s idol was never used as Mike threw half of it in the fire, thus making it unusable.
- This season holds a record for most hidden immunity idols present with seven.
- Chrissy had the first episode “super idol”, given to her by Ryan.
- Joe had two idols.
- Mike had one idol.
- Ryan had one idol.
- Ben had one idol.
- Lauren had one idol.
- Lauren is the first woman since Kelley Wentworth in Cambodia to find a hidden immunity idol.
Confessionals
- Chrissy had the most confessionals this episode with 5.
- Ashley, Devon, and Ryan had the least amount of confessionals with two each.
- Ben, Ryan, and Devon are the only players remaining that have never had an episode without a confessional.
- This is only the second episode where everyone received a confessional.
- It is the third if you count last week’s double episode as two separate episodes.
- Everyone had a confessional in Episode 6.
- Everyone had a confessional in the second part of the double episode (technically Episode 11).

Reward Challenge – “Love on the Rocks”
- This was the first time this “challenge” has been used in Survivor (and hopefully the last).
Immunity Challenge – “This Much”
- This challenge was previously used in Kaoh Rong.
- It was won by Kyle Jason.
- Ashley is the first person to win more than one individual immunity challenge this season.
Ratings
- Episode 12 received 8.96 million viewers and 1.8/7 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share. This is the highest rating of the season up until this point.
Episode Title
- The episode title “Not Going to Roll Over and Die” was said by Chrissy when talking about wanting to change her position in the game.
- This is only the second episode title to be said by a female, and Chrissy’s first episode title.
- Ashley and Mike are the only players left that haven’t said an episode title.
