- In Edge of Extinction, Rick was only eligible to be voted out at the first 4 tribal councils post merge.
- He won individual immunity 4 times, and used 2 hidden immunity idols.
- He was immune for 6 tribal councils in a row.
- He won individual immunity 4 times, and used 2 hidden immunity idols.
- Rick is the first person to be the 13th jury member of a season.
- He is the only player on Edge of Extinction to be eliminated twice.
- Both players to return from Edge were only voted out once though, as Rick was voted out once and eliminated due to losing the firemaking challenge, & Chris returned and won.
- Rick received $100,000 from Sia at the Edge of Extinction reunion.

- Rick holds the record for most hidden immunity idols in his possession during a single season with 4. Miles in Australian Survivor Brains vs. Brawn II tied this record.
- Since one was given to him for returning from the Edge, he’s tied with Russell, Tony, Tai, & Ben for most idols found in the game with 3.
- Despite starting Edge of Extinction on the Manu tribe, he’s the only player to be voted out of a tribe other than Manu.
- All pre-merge vote-outs were from the Manu tribe, with Rick being voted out of Lesu.
- Rick is the highest ranking player from the Lesu tribe.
- Both players to return from the Edge of Extinction on season 38 were only voted out once.
- Rick lost the F4 firemaking challenge
