- In the Hands of the Fans is the first season since Survivor 42 to have players from 3 different starting tribes make up the final 3, and the third season overall where this happened.
- The other time was Worlds Apart.
- None of the new era seasons have had a final tribal council that consisted of members from only one starting tribe.

- Rizo, Kamilla, Teeny, Liz, Katurah, Carson, Jesse, Jonathan, Heather, Lauren, Rick, Kara, Angela, Devon and Bobby Jon were eliminated due to a fire making challenge.
