Advantage
- This was the first time that somebody used the steal a vote advantage to vote someone out with their own vote that was stolen.
- Stephen unsuccessfully tried this in Cambodia by stealing Joe’s vote and voting for him with it, but Stephen was voted out instead.
- This is the third season where the advantage amulets were given to players after Survivor 42 and Survivor 45.
- All three times it’s been available, an Asian man was one of the holders.

Hidden Immunity Idol
- Sue is the second oldest player to find a hidden immunity idol at 58.
- The oldest was Janet, who was 59 in Island of the Idols.
- The oldest man to find a hidden immunity idol was Mike in Survivor 42, who was 57.
Immunity Challenge – “Stage Presence”
- Variations of this challenge have been used in San Juan del Sur, Game Changers, Island of the Idols, and Survivor 44.
- Lavo is the first red tribe to compete in this challenge and lose.
- After losing the first immunity challenge, Gata has come in first in the following three immunity challenges.
Confessionals
- Rome, Sol, and Teeny had the most confessionals this episode with 7.
- Kyle had 0 confessionals this episode.
- Sam has the most total confessionals so far with 29.
- Caroline has the least number of confessionals so far with 7.
- This is the first time since the premiere that Genevieve didn’t have the lowest total confessional count.
- Kishan had one confessional in episode 1, two in episode 2, three in episode 3, and four in episode 4.
Tribal Council
- Kishan was voted out 4-0.
- This is the first time only one player’s name was written down at a tribal council since Jelinsky was voted out in Survivor 46.
- Kishan is the first player to be voted out on day 8 in the new era.
- The most recent player voted out on day 8 was Vince in Island of the Idols.
- Kishan and Bhanu from Survivor 46 share some similarities.
- Both are LGBTQ men.
- Both are Indian American.
- Both were voted out in the fourth episode.
- Both of their tribes were the first tribe to lose multiple immunity challenges.
- Both of them were unable to vote in the episode they were eliminated in.
- Both of them had four total votes cast against them in the season.
- Karishma in Island of the Idols is the only Indian American player to make it to the merge.
- The only other South Asian players to make it to the merge are Naseer in Survivor 41 and Natalie in San Juan del Sur & Winners at War (they are both Sri Lankan).
- Three Indian American players in the new era were the fourth player voted out/eliminated from their season.
- Swati was the fourth player voted out of Survivor 42.
- Zach, Marya, and Jenny were voted out before her.
- Bhanu was the fourth player eliminated in Survivor 46.
- Jelinsky and Jess were voted out before him, and Randen was medevaced.
- Kishan was the fourth player voted out of Survivor 47
- Jon, TK, and Aysha were voted out before him.
- J. Maya in Survivor 45 and Anika from this season are the only Indian American new era players not to be voted out fourth from their season.
- Swati was the fourth player voted out of Survivor 42.

- Sean is the only one of these four who cast a vote at the tribal council where he was eliminated.
- He’s also the only player who didn’t have four total votes against them when they were voted out.
- This is the first tribal council this season where somebody couldn’t vote.
- Teeny is the only player on Lavo without votes against them.
- Both of the players who didn’t receive votes in episode 3 (Kishan & Teeny) were unable to vote in this episode.
- This was the first time since Moriah’s vote out in Survivor 46 where multiple people were ineligible to vote due to losing their vote.

- The fourth episode received 4.141 million viewers and 0.65 in the Adults 18-49 demo.
Episode Title
- The episode title, “Is That Blood in Your Hair,” was said by Tiyana after seeing the red paint in Sue’s hair from the hidden immunity idol.
