Merge
- The merged tribe name is Nuinui.
- Nuinui comes from the Fijian word for “hope.”
- It’s the seventh “N” tribe in Survivor history and the second “N” merged tribe after Nobag in Gabon.
- Nuinui is the first red merged tribe where none of the starting tribes were blue or yellow.
- The Amazon: Jacare (red) was the merged tribe and Tambaqui (blue) and Jaburu (yellow) were the starting tribes.
- Guatemala: Xhakum (red) was the merged tribe and Yaxha (blue) and Nakhum (yellow) were the starting tribes.
- Nicaragua: Libertad (red) was the merged tribe and Espada (blue) and La Flor (yellow) were the starting tribes.
- Edge of Extinction: Vata (red) was the merged tribe and Manu (blue) and Kama (yellow) were the starting tribes.
- Survivor 41: Viakana (red) was the merged tribe and Luvu (blue) and Yase (yellow) were two of the starting tribes.
- Nuinui is the first red merged tribe since Libertad in Nicaragua to not start with a “V.”
- Survivor 45 is the only new era season without a green tribe.

- Nuinui is the second tribe with five Black players on it after Manihiki in Cook Islands, and it’s the first time five Black players have made the merge.
Immunity Challenge – “Bermuda Triangle”
- Tevin is the only person who had both the merge feast and the reward in this episode.
- Everyone who missed out on the merge feast got to eat in this episode.
- Variations of this challenge were previously used in Marquesas, Pearl Islands, Panama, Caramoan, Cagayan, Cambodia, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Winners at War, and Survivor 42.
- Both times it was used and two players won, both players were of the same gender.
- Survivor 42: Hai & Jonathan won.
- Survivor 46: Maria & Kenzie won.
- Both times it was used and two players won, both players were of the same gender.
Double Elimination
- This is the 10th double elimination on Survivor. It previously happened in Cook Islands, Redemption Island, South Pacific, Ghost Island, Island of the Idols, Survivor 41, Survivor 42, Survivor 43, and Survivor 45.
- This is the third season in a row where a double elimination had two Black players voted out.
- Survivor 43: James & Ryan
- Survivor 45: Sifu & Kaleb
- Survivor 46: Tim & Soda
- This was the second time that the split tribal double elimination had two teams of six.
- Survivor 44 is the only new era season without a double elimination.
- None of the new era seasons have seen two women voted out during the double elimination.
- This has only happened in Cook Islands and South Pacific.
- This is the third time that two players were eliminated on Day 14.
- The first was in Cagayan when Cliff was voted out and Lindsey quit.
- The second was Survivor 45’s double elimination where Sifu and Kaleb were voted out.
Confessionals
- Venus had the most confessionals this episode with 7.
- Liz and Tim had the lowest number of confessionals with 1.
- Kenzie has the most total confessionals with 42.
- Liz has the lowest number of total confessionals with 11.
Tribal Council #1
- Tim was voted out 4-2.
- The four most recent 12th place players (and last player voted out before the jury started) were Black.
- Survivor 43: Dwight

- Survivor 45: Sifu
- Survivor 46: Tim
- This was the first time Hunter voted this season.
- The three remaining Yanu members have voted together in every episode and have perfect voting records.
- Every player voted out after the “mergatory” tribal council was safe at the previous tribal council.
- Survivor 41: Tiffany was voted out after the mergatory episode.
- Survivor 42: Chanelle was voted out after the mergatory episode.
- Survivor 43: Dwight was voted out after the mergatory episode.
- Survivor 44: Matt was voted out after the mergatory episode.
- Survivor 45: Sifu was voted out after the mergatory episode.
- Survivor 46: Tim was voted out after the mergatory episode.
Tribal Council #2
- Soda was voted out 4-2.
- This was the third 4-2 vote this season. Jem and Tim were also voted out 4-2.
- This was the second time a double elimination vote had the same vote totals.
- In Survivor 43, James and Ryan were both voted out 4-1.
- The three remaining Yanu players still have 0 votes against them.
- Tevin is the only remaining Nami member without a perfect voting record.
Ratings
- The seventh episode received 4.636 million viewers and 0.69 in the Adults 18-49 demo.
Episode Title
- The episode title “Episode Several” refers to Jelinsky’s comment in the premiere episode that he thought “several” meant seven.
