Immunity Challenge: “Crocodile Rock”

  • This challenge was previously used in Ghost Island and Island of the Idols.
    • A woman has always won immunity when this challenge was used.
      • Chelsea in Ghost Island (Domenick also won)
      • Noura in Island of the Idols
      • Karla in Survivor 43 (Cody also won)
  • This is the first episode where nobody from Baka won individual immunity.
    • This is also the first episode where someone from Coco (Karla) and Vesi (Cody) won individual immunity.
  • Karla is the first woman to win individual immunity this season.
  • Every individual immunity challenge winner so far has been a different person.
  • This is the first time that the blue team didn’t win the reward portion of the split tribe challenge.
    • In Survivor 41, Xander won for the blue team and, in Survivor 42, Jonathan won for the blue team.
  • Every time this split tribe challenge happened in the “new era” a man has been the last player standing.
    • Xander in 41, Jonathan in 42, and Cody in 43.

Advantage/Hidden Immunity Idol

  • James is the second player voted out with the Knowledge is Power advantage.
    • The first person was Geo.
      • Both of them started on the Coco tribe.
  • The Knowledge is Power advantage currently has a 0/4 record of being used correctly.
  • Stephen Fishbach in Cambodia is the only player to steal someone’s vote and use it to vote for that person (he stole Joe’s vote and used one of his votes to vote for Joe).
    • In Game Changers, Sarah stole Tai’s vote and voted for Michaela.
    • In David vs. Goliath, Nick stole Alison’s vote and voted for Dan.
    • In Winners at War, Sarah stole Denise’s vote and voted for Tyson.
    • In Survivor 43, Noelle stole Owen’s vote and voted for James.
      • Stephen is also the only player to use the vote steal and get voted out during the tribal council it was used, and the only player to use the vote steal and have their target not be voted out.

  • Karla had the most confessionals this episode with 5.
  • Noelle had the least amount of confessionals this episode with 1.

Tribal Council #1

  • James was voted out 4-1.
  • Owen is the only non-Coco member to receive votes in this episode.
  • Karla is the only Coco member to not receive votes in this episode.
    • Since she was immune, that means every Coco member that was eligible to receive votes did.
  • Every time the double elimination happened in the “new era,” a POC man from the blue tribe was first voted out.
    • Naseer from Luvu in 41.
    • Rocksroy from 42.
    • James from 43.
  • All three players from Pennsylvania have been voted out (Morriah, Lindsay, & James).

      • Every time this twist happened it was in episode 9, 10, or 11.
      • All players voted out finished in 9th-11th place in their season.
  • Survivor 41 is the only time that the twist was done post-merge where the players voted out were from different starting tribes.
    • Cook Islands: Pre-merge vote.
    • Redemption Island: Ralph & Steve were from Zapatera.
    • South Pacific: Dawn & Whitney were from Savaii.
    • Ghost Island:Jenna & Michael were from Malolo.

    • Survivor 41: Naseer was from Luvu and Evvie was from Yase.
    • Survivor 42: Rocksroy & Tori were from Ika.
    • Survivor 43: James & Ryan were from Coco.
      • This version of the split tribe voting was previously used in Ghost Island, Island of the Idols, Survivor 41, and Survivor 42.
      • A similar twist happened in Fiji where the merged tribe was split, but one team won immunity and only the other team had to vote someone out.
  • Cody, Jesse, and Sami are the only players with a perfect voting record.
  • Every male Coco member has been voted out.
  • Vesi is the only tribe left that has both male and female members remaining.
    • Coco: Cassidy & Karla.
