Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X

Power Rankings Final Results

Who won the Millennials vs. Gen X Power Rankings? Julia Sokolowski, Randy Bailey, or Martin Holmes?

While the battle between Millennials and Gen Xers was taking place on screen this season, there was a bigger battle happening here on Inside Survivor, in the Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X Power Rankings. As a former co-champion (along with Kelley Wentworth last season), I put my crown on the line against Survivor: Kaôh Rōng’s self-proclaimed “Millennial Monarch,” Julia Sokolowski, and two-time Survivor veteran and self-described “King of Gabon,” Randy Bailey.

After remaining in the lead for most of the season, I went into the finale with 172 points overall, followed by Randy in second with 165 points, and Julia in last with 132 points. But with six placements to predict plus three bonus questions, there was still the chance for some last minute game changes.

Finale Results

Below are the scores for the finale. In the case of Hannah and Ken, who technically finished joint second, if you ranked either of them 2nd or 3rd you will receive those points. As all three rankers placed Hannah second and Ken third, each player will receive 4 points.

In the finale, Julia received 32 points (10 for Jay first confessional, 10 for Adam finding the idol, and 12 points for correctly placing each of the final six). Randy received 18 points (10 for Jay first confessional, 8 for correctly placing Hannah, Ken, Bret and Jay). Martin received 14 points (10 for Jay first confessional, 4 points for placing Hannah and Ken).

Overall, Martin won the season on 186 points. Randy finished in a very close second with 183 points. And despite her impressive finale result, Julia finished in third with 164 points.

Inside Survivor would like to give a big thank you to Julia Sokolowski and Randy Bailey for joining us for this season’s Power Rankings. Participation trophies will be sent in the mail. We will return in March for Survivor: Game Changers for another season of Inside Survivor Power Rankings.

  1. I don’t like this finale scoring system. Julia placed correctly every single contestant on the final 6 and only got 12 points for that, while she received 20 points for answering two questions that are way less important than figuring out the winner of the season.
