Survivor: Game Changers

Power Rankings Round 10

Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor in power rankings for Survivor: Game Changers Episode 12.

While the castaways of Survivor: Game Changers fight it out on the islands of Fiji for the million dollar prize, another battle is taking place here on Inside Survivor. Former Survivor player and “Mother of Dragons” Michelle Schubert takes on Inside Survivor’s Martin “Redmond” Holmes to determine the Inside Survivor Power Rankings champion.

Previously on Power Rankings…

In Round 9, Michelle received 10 points for ranking Zeke in 10th place and Martin received 9 points. That means the overall scores are Martin at 142 points and Michelle at 139 points. Will Michelle continue her comeback this week?

The Rules

We use the Gordon Holmes format of Power Rankings. Each week the two power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. The ranking of the player who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the rankers will earn. For example, if Troyzan is voted out in Episode 12, Martin would receive 2 points and Michelle would receive 1 point. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Survivor: Game Changers Power Rankings Champion.

1
Troyzan
Why does Troyzan seem completely irrelevant to this whole season? He seems to have positioned himself nicely, found an idol, won immunity... yet there's no storyline around him at all. I'm keeping him as my safest for this week as well.
1
Tai
He got votes last week from his own supposed allies, so I'm not sure where Tai will land this episode. The good thing is, he has two idols, and if there's any worry, he'll play one.
2
Michaela
She seemed to get emotional over Zeke's vote out even though she helped pull the trigger. This actually tells me she's making her decisions rationally and she may be in a position to keep making wise choices. She also seems to be clear from any crossfire right now.
2
Troyzan
If there's a Survivor player on an island, but they don't make a sound, can you vote them out? Have I used that line before? Maybe, but it applies.
3
Brad
I have no idea how he STILL hasn't been having his name thrown around. Good thing Zeke and Andrea had a little feud going on. Also, seems like he's got the personality to forge alliances at the drop of a hat.
3
Sarah
Sarah has shown she's not afraid to turn on her allies and I can see her flipping again this week to take out someone from the Andrea/Cirie group. Maybe her actions will come back to bite her at some point, but I don't think it'll be tonight.
4
Sarah
I'm hesitant to put her up this high because she's been taking center stage with a lot of the strategy talk lately but I think she's got more in her arsenal. I would have loved to see her put her neck on the line for her alliance (Zeke) this last episode but I guess not too many people play that way.
4
Brad
He's been on the wrong side of the vote for the past couple of weeks but he seems to have good relationships. People seem to connect with him emotionally, and if he can show his sensitive side again during the loved ones visit, that could help build him some new allies.
5
Sierra
She's always hungry, and I get it, I was too. But she's gone from a power position to not really having any in-roads and always shown being hungry, tired, or pleading for her life. I don't think there's any reason to think this will end well for her.
5
Michaela
In the preview, Michaela is seen high-fiving a potential new alliance. I'm not sure she'll flip on Cirie after they seemed to bond so well, but I could see her turning on Andrea.
6
Cirie
A good player. She's staying out of the spotlight really well all the while definitely being a key part of each big move. I'm thinking this next week will shake things up quite a bit though and she really has been the gravity of the alliance that seems to be busting out the seams soon. Will that play against her in the coming episode?
6
Aubry
Aubry is very much on the outskirts of this game, but I could see a situation where people pile votes on her if they're worried Andrea/Cirie have an idol.
7
Tai
He always seems paranoid when he doesn't need to be... and then he seems secure when he shouldn't be. Last tribal showed that he literally has no close allies. (No one clued him in on the right name to vote AND his whole alliance voted against him, ouch!) So I wonder if his game will get shaken up a bit at this point? The real question is whether or not the others will be smart enough to make him feel secure so that he won't play his idols.
7
Sierra
I think this side will gain back the numbers this week, but if they don't, Sierra seems the prime target. We see her telling Sarah about the Legacy Advantage in the preview, but that might actually be used as a reason to get rid of her.
8
Aubry
...? No idea. I kinda feel like she may leave the game as soon as she enters it.
8
Cirie
There was too much foreshadowing last week of someone flipping over to the Brad/Sierra side, so I'm expecting bad things for Cirie/Andrea and co. I think they'd target Andrea first because of her challenge skills, but if she has immunity, Cirie would be next in line.
9
Andrea
You've impressed me, girl! Two individual immunities AND orchestrating some big moves??! Good job. Though, I'm a little worried that all these waves she's making are going to attract the sharks this week. People have GOT to have her on their radar now if they didn't before. And unfortunately, there's a direct correlation with how much credit you get for your gameplay and the size of the target on your back.
9
Andrea
It's just habit at this point. I keep putting Andrea at the bottom, and she continues to prove me wrong. But she should be seen as the most dangerous person in the game right now. I'm actually rooting for her, so I'm hoping this acts as a sort of good luck spell.
