Big Brother All-Stars

Power Rankings (Round 3)

The BB vs Survivor battle continues…

Inside Survivor’s Power Rankings are back for Big Brother All-Stars, and it’s a special reality-tv showdown edition.

That’s right, it’s Big Brother versus Survivor as BB21 favorite Ovi Kabir takes on Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers runner-up Chrissy Hofbeck. Who will come out on top? Which reality-show will get the bragging rights? Let’s find out!

Last week, Chrissy ranked Nicole A in 11th place, earning her 11 points. Meanwhile, Ovi had Nicole A ranked in 15th place, giving him 15 points. Both Chrissy and Ovi also earned 2 bonus points for Memphis winning the Power of Veto. Ovi remains in the lead with 33 points, while Chrissy has 27. How will this week shake out?

RULES

Each week the two power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be evicted. If the person ranked in 1st place is eliminated in the next episode, the ranker earns 1 point. If the person ranked in 16th place is eliminated, the ranker receives 16 points, and so on. The person with the most points at the end of the season will be named the Big Brother All-Stars Power Rankings Champion.

As a bonus, if the player ranked in first wins the Power of Veto that week, the ranker will gain 2 extra points.

SPOILER DISCLAIMER: Chrissy is a TV only watcher, while Ovi is a feeds watcher, so expect some live feeds spoilers below. Also, these rankings were written before the latest Safety Suite competition.

1
Tyler
Well the golden boy is up here as HOH this week. Truthfully, Tyler is playing a spectacular game right now. He’s not on anyone’s radar (except maybe Janelle, who’s discovered part of his alliance) and seems to be close with most people in the house. He’s sure set up for a deep run… so I’m not sure I expect him to risk wrecking that by pulling any big moves this week. Instead, at week 3, I think we might see noms and evictions that lead to little or no blood.
1
Tyler
No surprises here. Tyler continues his streak of being in the top of the rankings with good gameplay, solid connections, and a cherry on top this week, an HOH win. He was already in a good position in the game and whether this HOH win improves it, is left to be seen.
2
Enzo
I’m loving him this season! No way Enzo is going anywhere near the block this week. It’ll be fun to see how Enzo’s hinky vote for David plays out. Will he blame someone else, or claim it proudly? Enzo will be playing the Safety Suite comp this week (alongside Memphis, Tyler, Nicole F and Dani), and I think he has a great shot at winning.
2
Christmas
Positioned as one of the safest girls in the house, Christmas has done well with creating connections but playing a low-profile game thus far. Her name has not come up on anybody’s radar as a potential evictee and her close connection to Tyler almost guarantees her safety this week.
3
David
Given Tyler’s protection of David last week, I don’t think he’d consider David for the block. Tyler is always looking for extra support even outside his alliance (which is why Tyler is such a great player) – and he’s got that in David. A David eviction would actively hurt Tyler’s game, so I think he’s safe up here in the #3 spot.
3
Cody
Coming off his week 1 HOH win, Cody did well week 2 to be on everyone’s good side. Going to week 3 Cody is looking great as his close allies include both Tyler and Enzo. He shouldn’t be going anywhere this week.
4
Cody
I’m surprised I’m putting him this high given he played Safety Suite last week, but truthfully I just don’t see Cody anywhere near the block, as either a real nom or a pawn.
4
David
A rollercoaster of rankings is what David seems to strive for as he came in 15th this previous week and is coming in at a solid 4th this week. Surviving the block has allowed David to make more connections than he ever has had before. And while he’s probably on the bottom of the totem pole on his side of the house, he’s Tyler’s number 2 man so he shouldn’t see the block this week.
5
Dani
The oddball comment from Julie about Busy Philips is the most talked about Dani situation of the week. No news is good news in Week 3. Dani’s also got a Safety Suite comp.
5
Enzo
Arguably playing the best social game currently out of the old-schoolers, Enzo’s strategy of making a small core alliance and laying low is doing him well. With the added twist of throwing a hinky vote on David this past eviction with the hopes of framing another houseguest for this vote; Enzo continues to show his potential for a deep-run this season.
6
Christmas
Christmas played Safety Suite last week as a favor to her alliance. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her agree to being a pawn for them, too. But right now, Christmas is in a pretty good spot. She’s playing a good social game and that bodes well for her for at least the next few weeks. Plus, she’s a major physical comp threat, which is a nice shield for Tyler to keep around.
6
Nicole F
An obvious threat and target for anybody coming into this season, Nicole F. has done well in minimizing this by masking her presence with the help of her alliances. While she’s not doing herself any favors on the Twitter streets by targeting fan favorite, Janelle, Nicole F. has done a great job moving the target away from her.
7
Bayleigh
While some might think the prior Tyler / Bayleigh feuds from season 20 might mean bad news for Bayleigh, I actually think that’s what will keep her safe this week. Keeping Bayleigh off the block while he’s HOH will be an active move of Tyler, proving that he wants a good game relationship with her. And if he makes it to the Final 2, this is exactly the move Tyler will point to when requesting Bayleigh’s winning vote / key on finale night.
7
Bayleigh
A social butterfly and strong competitor, Bayleigh is playing the middle of the house very well. She seems to have a hand in every cookie jar this season and as long as she doesn’t overplay her hand, she should be sitting pretty.
8
Nicole F
We’re starting to see paranoia set in (thanks to Janelle), and sometimes that causes people to shoot themselves in the foot. Hopefully, Nicole can settle down and ride out her alliance for at least a bit longer. Plus, there’s always the Safety Suite comp.
8
Dani
A pre-season favorite, Dani captured the hearts of many and rose high in many people’s internal rankings. Unfortunately, while her gameplay has been strong at times, it has included some unneeded messiness too. I worry that some of her small lies will come back to bite her if her alliance members start swapping notes.
9
Da'Vonne
Da'Vonne showed incredible grace and strength of character last week when she voted to keep David. But could Nicole A’s words to Da'Vonne been a foreshadow? Will David return the favor? Da'Vonne isn’t in the big alliance, so I think her days are numbered. I’d love to see her escape the vote this week – although it wouldn’t surprise me if she at some point ended up on the block.
9
Ian
Week-in and week-out, I will never trust that Ian is completely safe because being one of two of the only winners on a season means you have a target. However, I think Ian is in a much better middle of the pack position than he was in the previous week, and Tyler does not seem to have his eyes completely on him unless a backdoor option arises.
10
Janelle
Janellousy is huge right now. Powerful reputation, challenge beast, drop-dead gorgeous, and plays with exactly the right amount of emotion. She also discovered and shared Tyler’s alliance. Getting Janelle out would be a massive play. Will it happen? Somehow, I think she’s just too good a player to exit Week 3. Janelle is masterful at this game. And also, there’s a veto comp. AND, between Janelle and Kaysar, I think the other women will prefer to oust a man this week. Anyway, it’s All-Stars – we need her around a bit longer, please!
10
Kevin
With Nicole A evicted, Kevin has no close allies within the house, which actually could be a positive for him surprisingly. He is able to play up the lone wolf angle and could float through the weeks while still being a pawn on the block for an easy nomination.
11
Memphis
How the mighty have fallen. Memphis’s general disdain for everyone else last week was evident, and everyone seems to be over him. I know Memphis has an alliance, but the others may decide it will be more fun to play an All-Stars game without his snarky comments and ego than to keep him going. If that happens, I think it will be through the back door, buddy.
11
Da'Vonne
Da’Vonne has played well with little to no mistakes through the majority of the game thus far, however she has gotten strung up in her own lies she spurned. Between Dani, herself, and Tyler, a bit of miscommunication happened, and it seems it all fell on Da’Vonne. There’s potential that Tyler is suspicious of her now and might take a shot this week.
12
Ian
Ian seems to be floating. Other than the alliance we saw him make with Nicole F, I’m not sure who exactly has his back? He’s also a prior winner who’s recently shown incredible game moves in the “Christmas please keep me safe” conversation. The only thing that gives me pause is that Nicole F needs to keep Ian around as a shield, as he’s the only other winner. But right now I’m not sure she has enough pull in her alliance to make that happen without showing her hand.
12
Memphis
You would imagine that being in an alliance with 5 others including the current HOH this week would keep one safe. Usually, it would, but in Memphis’ situation, you may be wrong. Memphis managed to upset everyone with the way he nominated both David and Nicole A the previous week, which included Tyler. There’s a backdoor possibility here for Tyler to make a move against Memphis if David pushes hard enough for this to happen.
13
Kaysar
A Kaysar eviction would be a big move. Will Tyler be making a big move? Not sure. The thing is, Janelle and Kaysar in this game actively hurts Tyler, as they are aware of his alliance and are campaigning against it. If either Janelle or Kaysar was to win HOH next week, Tyler could be toast. Of the Jaysar duo, I think Tyler would prefer to keep Janelle as she’s the bigger shield. And I think the other women in the house would prefer to evict a man because, well, it’s a numbers game.
13
Kaysar
While Kaysar is someone that doesn’t seem to be Tyler’s number 1 target, he is the house’s target, which gives him a strong likelihood of going home this week. I imagine seeing some combination between Kaysar and Janelle on the block this week.
14
Kevin
A Kevin oust in Week 3 would be a quiet move with little blood. This might be wholly appealing to Tyler this early in the game. I’m worried for beautiful Kevin this week. Ugh.
14
Janelle
In a dream world of Big Brother, fans would love to see both Janelle and Tyler pair up to take on the house. Unfortunately, this season that dream is simply still a dream. Janelle is enemy number 1 in the minds of many houseguests this season for reasons I have no clue about. She isn’t on the block yet, but I’m sure it’s to come. Unless Janelle or Kaysar win the Power of Veto, I don’t think either of them can feel safe this week.
