Australian Survivor Season 2 Power Rankings (Round 8)

While season two of Australian Survivor is now underway, another intense showdown is happening here on Inside Survivor. Former Australian Survivor Season 1 players, Flick Egginton and Nick Iadanza, who once faced off on the islands of Samoa, go to battle once more to determine the Inside Survivor Power Rankings champion.

In Round 7, Flick scored a total of 19 points by ranking Jarrad in 11th place, Anneliese in 6th place, and Henry in 2nd place. Nick scored a total of 23 points for ranking Jarrad in 7th place, Anneliese in 6th place, and Henry in 10th place (bumped up after Jarrad and Anneliese were off the board). That puts the overall scores at 153 for Flick and 127 for Nick. This will be Nick’s final set of rankings as he heads to Japan next week, I will be taking his place for the remaining two weeks.

The Rules

We use the Gordon Holmes format of Power Rankings. Each week the two power rankers create separate rankings based on least likely to most likely to be eliminated. The ranking of the player who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the rankers will earn. For example, if the person you ranked in 1st place is eliminated in the next episode, you will recieve 1 point. If the person you ranked in 20th place is eliminated, you will receive 20 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the Australian Survivor Power Rankings Champion.

Jericho

He isn't a huge threat so he won't have a target on his back. He has a good relationship with everyone. I can see Jericho sliding his way to the end and winning this game.

At this point, the Cookie Monster is my new winner pick. He has a lot of people who feed him jam… I mean information, and that is a lot of power.

Tara

Tara's game, in the beginning, was all about control and since then she has gone under the radar which is smart to last longer in the game but not smart to win as you need to make moves and if you're sitting next to someone that has there's no chance.

With all the threats going, I am seeing a deep run for Tara because no one will be afraid to sit next to her at the end. Unfortunately for her, I am seeing a no vote final tribal on the cards.

Locky

Locky has shown he has a strategic side to him! I have a feeling he will make it a little further in this game because people won't see him as much of a threat.

Michelle

Again, as far as physical threats go she won't be raising any eyebrows. But she has the tenacity to make it deep. Her snark and meme-able moments are making for good tv so keep her around I say!

Luke

Luke is King but I think people will soon realise how much power he has and cut him before he can make the Final 2.

Sarah

For my money, Sarah is the best player out there. I think she has so many options and skills for this game particularly. However, the best player doesn’t always win so I can see her being clipped before final tribal.

Michelle

Michelle is owning this game! I'm loving her and how people underrate her! I have a feeling she'll make it a bit further.

Peter

Sometimes the easiest vote isn’t the most logical. Pete has such a good eye for the game, and I love how he feels empowered to play risky because he is so often on the bottom. However, if he doesn’t make Final 5, he will have a lot of friends on that Jury, and that in itself is a huge reason why he will need to be sent packing too.

Sarah

Sarah is AWESOME! Loving her game! She's not too aggressive and she doesn't have all the control but she's in a good position.

Tessa

The scrappiest player out there has fought from the bottom and made some epic moves happen. I love her logical approach to the game and I am hoping she can make it even further.

Peter

Love Peter! I hope he lasts longer than this, and you think he would since there are much bigger threats out there, but I have a feeling that the larger alliance will vote him out before he can make it far enough to change their minds to take him to the end.

Luke

I love Luke (who doesn’t?), but I can see Jericho cutting him and every fan losing their marbles when his torch gets snuffed. I think it will happen sooner rather than later.

Tessa

Tessa will be seen as quite a big player now as she was on the bottom and next to go, and she made everyone flip on Henry - although I'm sure they were all already thinking this as well. But I don't think Tessa will last much longer than a few votes.

Locky

Now that Henry is gone, he has very little holding him to that Asaga alliance as he hasn’t spent any time with Luke or Jericho etc. Catch ya Lock!

Ziggy

Ziggy is playing far too many people in this game, and I can only see her being blindsided soon for doing so. Love this girl, but I think her time is coming to an end!

She is far too big a threat, so the moment she loses immunity and her idol has run its course, she is out of there.
