The 51st season of Survivor recently wrapped up filming in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands and will feature a group of new castaways vying for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million prize. As with previous new era seasons, Survivor 51 will last for 26 days but this time is rumored to have a larger cast than normal, with 21 players.
Survivor 51 is scheduled to air in late 2026 at 8:00 PM on Wednesdays on CBS. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced. The Emmy-winning Jeff Probst will once again return as host.

21 people? That’s new. Also I have a question, why is everyone complaining on how the castaways look? Does it really matter?
Because there is an unbreakable law that people online MUST complain and right now we have nothing else to go on but the way people look. If we had samples of the contestants’ voices, people would say, “Ouch, my ears! I can barely endure it!” If we only knew the contestants’ Starbucks orders people would hurl coffee in unbridled misery. Social media gonna social media.
Daniel reminds me of Caleb from Aussi survivor 11(or 13 depends where you start counting). Hopefully he is more likable

Is this the first time in history of survivor that there’s only 1 Californian on the cast? Damn. Also 4 people from midwest, i thought survivor production hated midwestern people
Loving the diverse cast even though the diversity initiative is over. Could do with more older contestants but that’s always the case (except for returnee seasons of course).
A very mature looking cast. I feel like An thein Nguyen would be targeted early on since she looks so young
I hope Rob goes fast there is something about him that I am not liking.
So Maggie is the first person from West Virginia on the cast? That’s great, now we need people from Alaska, Idaho and the Dakotas. And let’s not forget the territories like guam. I want people from all over the Us to be represented!

Besides the lack of age diversity, it looks like a good cast. Wish there were more fuller figured people cast. But I understand y’all need the eye candy for the ratings to stay high. Why is there an extra female? Looking forward to September!!
