In May we revealed that a number of former Survivor contestants would be competing on the next season of The Amazing Race alongside former Big Brother and Race competitors in a huge crossover season. We can now reveal which Survivor teams will be taking part in the epic race around the world for a million dollars.
There will be three Survivor teams in total taking on three duos from Big Brother and five from The Amazing Race.
Below are the rumored Survivor teams (with credit to the RFF team for help):
Chris Hammons and Bret LaBelle
Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen-X
Chris and Bret competed on the thirty-third season of Survivor, Millennials vs. Gen-X, where they were both members of the Gen-X tribe. They were closely aligned throughout the game and both made it to the merge. Chris was voted out in 11th place after being blindsided by members of his own alliance. Bret went on to reach the finale, ultimately finishing in 5th place. The two men developed a strong friendship which continued outside of the game, with Bret feeling comfortable enough to share his sexuality with Chris in post-game Ponderosa.
Laura and Rupert Boneham
Survivor: Blood vs. Water
Rupert is a Survivor veteran who has competed on four separate seasons of the show. He first appeared on Pearl Islands in 2003 where his pirate-like antics saw him become a huge fan favorite. He returned the following year in All-Stars where he made it to the final four – he was later awarded $1 million by a public vote in special America’s Tribal Council. It was then another six years before Rupert returned to Survivor, joining the Heroes tribe in the highly-regarded Heroes vs. Villains season in 2010; he again made a deep run but did not win.
Rupert’s most recent appearance came in 2013 when he took part in Blood vs. Water with his wife Laura. After choosing to swap places with his wife, who was voted out of her tribe in an opening twist, he subsequently lost his Redemption Island duel and left the game in 20th place. Laura continued on her own but struggled to find her footing and was ultimately voted out in 12th place pre-merge.
Corinne Kaplan and Eliza Orlins
Survivor: Gabon/Caramoan and Survivor: Vanuatu/Micronesia
Corinne and Eliza have appeared on four seasons of Survivor between them, though they have never competed on the same season. Eliza first appeared on Vanuatu back in 2004 where she made it all the way to fourth place. She then returned four years later for Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites where she became the merge boot and first jury member. Corinne’s first season took place in Gabon where she reached the merge and became the fourth jury member. Much like Eliza, she later returned for a Fans. vs. Faves season, this time in Caramoan, where she also became the first merge boot, though did not place on the jury. Corinne and Eliza became close friends outside of the show.
Survivor will be up against tough competition from the two other big CBS reality shows. The rumored Big Brother teams (as first posted by RFF) include Janelle Pierzina & Britney Godwin (Haynes), Rachel Reilly Villegas & Elissa Reilly Slater, and Nicole Franzel & Victor Arroyo. Meanwhile, TAR is bringing back some of its most popular and feared teams, including Becca Droz & Floyd Pierce, Colin Guinn & Christie Woods Guinn, Art Velez & John James “JJ” Carrell, Tyler Oakley & Korey Kuhl, and Leo Temory & Jamal Zadran.
Previous Survivor alumni to take part in the race around the world include Rob & Amber Mariano, Jenna Morasca & Ethan Zohn, and Keith Tollefson & Whitney Duncan. However, this is the first time multiple Survivor teams will be competing in the same season.
TMZ initially broke the news of Big Brother contestants being on the next season of The Amazing Race, while Reality Blurred later added that the season would see Big Brother competitors facing off against former TAR racers. Inside Survivor was the first to reveal the season would in fact feature contestants from all three shows.
UPDATE: CBS has officially confirmed the season will be The Amazing Race: Reality Clash

I genuinely don’t understand why Corinne is considered any better than Colton, Alicia, or Will Sims.
Corinne is actually clever, educated, and funny.
Because Corrine is a goddess, and Colton & Will Sims are a total waste of oxygen. Can’t even remember what Alicia did.
I understand it perfectly.
I’m so happy to see Colin and Christie back. I hope they still got it
If this is the official cast, I am pumpppeedddd! So many people to root for. I think I genuinely like all of the teams.
No more Rupert, please! Hope they are the first ones out.
My thoughts, exactly…
I.loved him.hope he wins.
Super excited to finally see Colin and Christy back on the Amazing Race.
I have waited years to see Colin & Christie again..back then the Race made him toxic. People accused him of verbal abuse against Christie..i think he just gets so competive…I love that guy
Im disappointed Dan Gheesling won’t be competing. I’ll definitely be rooting for the BB blondes Janelle and Britney. “Bye bye bitches!”
They chose these teams over Caleb and Tai?!?
I just can’t wait! This will be a hoot!
I love them pairing two of Survivor’s most productive mouths ever in Corinne and Eliza. Also… COLIN AND CHRISTIE!? IS THIS REAL LIFE?
Is this just fantasy?
No, real. It’s currently filming.
Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality TV?
(I’m totally watching this even if I have to put up with Rachel, but oh do I hope Britney does more of her legendary Rachel mockery)
Yes to Eliza and Corinne. <3 Don't care for the rest.
Cool to see Colin and Christie again.
Also: Team Fun~!
Damn, early on the text I got so freaking excited to then later see that they choosed these 3 couples, lol! Only one is actually pretty good, they are freaking amazing! Eliza, I can’t get enough of her and the duo with Corine will be interesting, they already make a nice duo on social media haha I hope they get far! It will be a nice season, I’ll try to see some old seasons of Amazing Race to see the returning ones
That Rupert and Laura still made me chuckle… Well played sir!
Corinne and Eliza……together….OMG. I am so watching that season. Also, cool to see Bret and Chris back.
