Episode 5 Stats

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Vote-out

  • CeCe was voted out 4-1.
    • David is the only Gen Xer to vote correctly at every tribal he’s attended so far.
    • CeCe received votes at every tribal she attended.
  • Four out of the five people voted out this season have been women.
    • The only women to be voted out this season have been minorities.
  • Adam is the only person remaining that hasn’t correctly voted anyone out of the game.
  • After the tribe swap in Survivor: Nicaragua someone originally from the older tribe was also voted out.
    • By Episode 5 in both seasons, only one person from the original younger tribe had been voted out.

Confessionals

  • This is the fifth episode in a row in which David received the most confessionals.
  • This is the second episode in a row in which Sunday, Hannah, and Will received 0 confessionals.
  • This is the first time since Episode 2 that Michelle has received confessionals.

Hidden Immunity Idol

  • David is the fourth person to find another hidden immunity idol immediately after using one at tribal council.
    • Russell Hantz on Survivor: Samoa was the first.
    • Reynold Toepfer on Survivor: Caramoan was the second.
    • Malcolm Freberg on Survivor: Caramoan was the third.

Tribe Swap

  • Only four people remained on the same tribe they started on.
    • Jessica & Ken for Takali
    • Zeke & Michelle for Vanua
  • This is the second time that a third tribe has been added to a two tribe season.
    • The first was Angkor in Survivor: Cambodia
    • “The Outcasts” were a third added group in Survivor: Pearl Islands, but technically aren’t considered a tribe.
  • Ika Bula is the only tribe name in Survivor history to start with an “I.”
  • The three tribe colors are the same as the three starting tribes in Survivor: Cagayan.
  • Since Survivor: Cagayan, five out of the six seasons have had three pre-merge tribes.
    • Survivor: San Juan Del Sur is the only season to have two pre-merge tribes.

Immunity Challenge – “Holy Diver.”

  • This challenge has been previously used in Survivor: Cagayan.

Ratings

Title

  • The episode title “Idol Search Party” was said by CeCe Taylor when talking about the idol hunt at the Gen X beach.

Correction: Reynold was added to the idol section.
