Liz Markham is 27 years old and works as a Quantitative Strategist for KCG Holdings, a securities trading firm. Currently living in New York City, Markham graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009 with a degree in Mathematics, after which she became a professional gambler specializing in blackjack; she designed and ran computer simulations to study the impact of blackjack strategy variations on profitability and risk exposure. Since 2010 Markham has worked as a Quantitative Strategist where she designs and researches trading strategies.
With her degree in Mathematics and background in blackjack, coupled with her job as a strategist within the trade industry, Markham will be part of the Brains tribe on Survivor Kaôh Rōng – Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty 2.
