Survivor: Kaôh Rōng Episode 13 – Stats and Figures

Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode.

Hidden Immunity Idol

  • This is the first season since Survivor: Tocantins (Season 18!) in which none of the hidden immunity idols were played.

Tribes

  • Something interesting we didn’t mentioned before, but the racial/gender make-up of the final 6 in Kaôh Rōng was exactly the same as in Survivor: Cagayan.
    • 1 Asian man (Woo & Tai)
    • 2 Caucasian men (Tony/Spencer & Joe/Jason)
    • 1 African American woman (Tasha & Cydney)
    • 2 Caucasian women (Trish/Kass & Aubry/Michele)
  • With Joe being evacuated, Aubry is the last remaining original Brain tribe member & Tai is the last man remaining.

Reward Challenge– 5×5

  • This is the first time this season that Joe won/went on an individual reward.
    • Unfortunately, it resulted in him being medevaced.
    • While Joe is of course the oldest person to win an individual challenge this season, he is not the oldest overall. That record is still held by Rudy Boesch in Survivor: Borneo.

Medevac

  • Kaôh Rōng holds the record for most in-game medevacs with 3.
  • Joe is the 14th person in Survivor history to be medevaced.
    • He is the oldest person to be medevaced.
    • He is also the longest lasting Joe in Survivor.
  • This is the first time that 2 medevacs (Neal and Joe) have been on the jury.
  • Erik Reichenbach was medevaced in 5th place in Survivor: Caramoan, but he still holds the record for latest medevac at day 36 (Joe’s was on day 34)
    • Joe is the first person ever to leave the game on day 34.

Ratings

Episode Title

  • The episode title “With Me or Not With Me” was said by Tai in a conversation with Aubry about being left out of the plan to vote out Jason at the previous tribal council.

  1. i love this kind of thing. it’s such a waste that you are not receiving more comments…

  2. I love this kind of stuff but really, what’s to say about it? Comments usually follow opinions, not facts. Here’s my comment: nice column, keep it up.

    • Thanks! I’m actually ok with the lack of comments, because usually they’re just correcting me when I get something wrong (and I hate that oh so much 😛 )
Words of encouragement are always welcomed though!
