Survivor: Island of the Idols came to an end last Wednesday when Tommy Sheehan, the 26-year-old Fourth Grade Teacher from Floral Park, New York, beat out Dean Kowalksi and Noura Salman in an 8-2-0 vote to become the latest Sole Survivor and winner of the $1 million prize.
Throughout the season we have been running a Player of the Week poll after each episode (you can see the weekly results below). However, now it is time to vote for your Player of the Season. Who impressed you the most with their strategic gameplay, social skills, and overall performance during the season?
As you can see from the results below, Lauren, who was eliminated in fourth place, received the most Player of the Week titles during the season with three total. Meanwhile, Elaine, Kellee, Missy, and Karishma all secured two apiece. Only women won the Player of the Week poll during the entire season. Last week, readers voted Lauren the Player of the Week with 460 Votes (24.74%).

It’s seasons like this that really make me wish I could vote for more than one person. Between Janet and Elaine and Tommy and Kellee and Chelsea, how is a fan supposed to choose?!
I think it is deeply ironic and telling that a woman won “Player of the Week” every single week, yet a man still won the season.
Yea! Janet is in the lead with 28% as of now. Anyone know why the show did not do a fan fave this year?
They haven’t done a fan fave in years — many years! — since losing sponsorship by Sprint, or whatever corporation it was that sponsored that prize.

There’s no point in these polls anymore. Missy did nothing in Week 3, Lauren did nothing last episode and Karishma was literally eliminated and she still got POTW? Nonsense.
