COVERING DATES: Late October 11th – Early October 18th, 2023

CIRIE FIELDS

  • On day 72, Cirie and Cameron remain on the block, with Cameron being the primary target for eviction. Cameron is later voted out unanimously, and he becomes the first member of the jury.
  • A new twist was unleashed in the house by making the next HOH invisible, meaning the HOH would be a secret from the other houseguests. Jag won the BB comic competition, and within a few days, the whole house knew he’d won.
  • Cirie discovers that Jag is lying about winning after a single conversation, as she can read Jag’s body language. Cirie pretends not to know to make Jag/Matt continue to trust and underestimate her.
  • Jag’s original plan for nominations was a combination of Cirie, Felicia, and Blue, intending to backdoor Blue. Jag then also considered using Bowie Jane as a pawn. Ultimately, he opts to nominate Felicia and Blue, and if either came down from the block, Jag wanted to nominate Cirie.
  • This week, there were two veto competitions. All contestants were eligible for the first veto, and only the winner sat out at the second one.
  • Cirie and Felicia are annoyed that Jag nominated Felicia/Blue instead of Cory/America as the latter is a known duo and showmance, especially as Jag had the advantage of his invisible HOH. Cirie and Felicia hoped they could win safety to ruin Jag’s plans.
  • Cirie’s spectacular social game makes her thrive despite being in a rocky position since Izzy and Jared left. Due to her newfound relationship with Jag and Blue spilling the beans to him (encouraged by Cirie), Jag decided to blindside Cory/America instead of evicting Felicia.
  • Cory and Cirie talk about Survivor Game Changers, and Cory questions if it was the season where Cirie had her son as her family visit. Cirie agrees and quickly changes the subject.
  • After the nominations, Cirie does jury management with America as Cirie comforts her. America tells Cirie and Blue she will nominate Jag/Matt if she stays and wins the next HOH.
  • Cirie and Felicia renew their final two pact and want either Blue/America to win the next HOH to get rid of Jag/Matt without getting the blood on their hands.
  • Cirie’s alliances so far:
  1. The Fields trio: Cirie, Jared, Izzy (extinct alliance)
  2. Brown Sugar Babes: Jared, Cirie, Felicia, Mecole. (extinct alliance)
  3. Bye-Bye Bitches: Cirie, Felicia, Mecole, Izzy, Bowie. (extinct alliance)

CORY WURTENBERGER

  • Cory is ecstatic to finally vote Cameron out of the house.
  • Jag tells Cory he won HOH a day after and says he’s the first person who knows. This is a lie, however, as Jag told Matt first. Cory mentions Jag continues to keep him in the dark regarding crucial information.
  • America tells Blue about Jag/Matt targeting Blue, which annoys Cory as this information leak could make them a target instead of Blue. Blue later tells Matt about America’s comments, making Cory worry Jag might backdoor him or America instead.
  • Cory’s fears come true as his game starts to unravel by several factors: Jag and Blue win the two veto powers, opening a spot on the block; Blue rats Cory/America out to Jag by telling him all the information she has on them, including them wanting to target Jag/Matt; Jag intends to pull a big move and now wants to nominate Cory and America, to backdoor Cory.
  • Before the veto ceremony, Cory still thinks he has Jag/Matt in his corner. Cory even converses with Cirie to reassure her she has the votes against Felicia, as Cory thinks Cirie is the replacement nominee. Cory also tells America that he wants to target Jag/Matt if he wins the next HOH.
  • Jag blindsides Cory and America for nomination, officially breaking up the second showmance of the season. Both are upset about being backdoored and want the other to stay in the game.
  • Cory tries to rally the troops to continue working with him or America, depending on who stays, though Cory hasn’t realised that Cirie is also targeting him, and Bowie Jane is no longer in his corner.
  • Cory feels dejected as he realises he is leaving the game and wants America to continue to play for both of them. During his apparent last night in the house, Cory tries to set America up for the last weeks of the game.
  • Cory’s alliances so far:
  1. Family Style: Jared, Matt, Reilly, Blue, Cameron, America, Cory, Jag. (extinct alliance)
  2. Mecory: has a deal with Mecole to look out for one another. (extinct alliance)
  3. The Crossroads: final four with Jared, Cory, and Izzy. (extinct alliance)
  4. Final two with Jared: Cory doesn’t plan to uphold it. (extinct alliance)
  5. Final two/Showmance with America: real deal for Cory
  6. For Real For Real alliance: Cirie, Jared, Cory, Mecole, America, Felicia, and Izzy. (extinct alliance)
  7. 3-Way/The Reliable Rats: Cory, America, and Matt. (Matt doesn’t like America)
  8. Working with Felicia and America (extinct alliance)
  9. Belgium alliance: Cory, America, Jag, and Matt final four.
  10. Toutte: Cory, America, and Jag.
