Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
Tribal Council
- Cole was voted out 7-1-0.
- Mike used a hidden immunity idol and negated two votes against him.
- This was JP and Chrissy’s first time voting for the person that didn’t go home (not including Chrissy’s initial vote for Joe in Episode 8).
- Cole is the first man voted out since Alan was voted out in Episode 4.
- There was a streak of only women going home in Episodes 5-8.
- Ryan still has a perfect voting record and the most correct votes to eliminate.
- With Cole being voted out, there are now exactly half the amount of players remaining than there were at the beginning of the game.
- All three people voted out post merge so far had seven votes that eliminated them.
- However, it has never been the same seven people voting them out.
- They also all received their first votes at the tribal where they were voted out.
- Devon and Ryan are the only players who don’t have votes against them.
- They also happen to be the youngest players this season, as both were 23 when this season was filmed.
- The oldest player remaining (Chrissy who is 46) has the most votes against her of all remaining players with seven.
- Joe also has seven votes against him, but two of them were negated by a hidden immunity idol.
Tribes
- Everyone from the Heroes and Healers tribe has received at least one vote against them.
- The only players to be eliminated post-merge so far have been Healers.
Hidden Immunity Idol
- Mike played the third idol this season.
- The only successful idol play was Joe’s first one, which prevented a 2-2 tie.
Confessionals
- Ben had the most confessionals this episode with 5.
- In every post-merge episode, Ben has had the highest confessional count.
- JP is the only one who didn’t have a confessional this episode.
- This is his fifth episode where he had 0 confessionals.
- He’s only had 5 confessionals this entire season.
Reward Challenge – “Hear About it Ladder”
- Cole has won every reward challenge this season, and has only lost two challenges that he’s participated in (the first individual immunity challenge, and the last individual immunity challenge).
- Chrissy, Joe, JP and Cole have won both post-merge reward challenges this season.
Immunity Challenge – “Squatty Probst”
- So far, the first two individual immunity challenge winners have been voted out at the following tribal council.
- Nobody from the Heroes tribe has won an individual immunity challenge this season.
- Lauren is the only person to win individual immunity this season who has had any previous votes cast against her.
Ratings
- Episode 9 received 7.37 million viewers and 1.4/5 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share. This episode aired the night before Thanksgiving.
Episode Title
- The episode title “Fear of the Unknown” was said by Ben talking about a hidden immunity idol possibly being played.
- Every episode title since Episode 5 has been said by either Joe or Ben, with the episode title alternating between Ben and Joe each week.
