Each week Inside Survivor contributor Rob Brodeur will be collecting various Survivor related statistics and information based off the latest episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.

Tribal Council

  • Ali was voted out 3-1
    • All of the original Hustlers that have been voted out this season so far were unanimous votes.
  • Lauren is the only female Hustler remaining.
  • Jessica and Desi are the only females left without any votes against them.
  • Three seasons filmed in Fiji have had a female as the final pre-merge boot:
      • Lisi Linares in Fiji
      • Michaela Bradshaw in Millennials vs. Gen X
      • Ali Elliot in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers
    • Only one season filmed in Fiji had a male as the final pre-merge boot:
      • Jeff Varner in Game Changers

Tribes

  • Yawa is the only post-swap tribe to make it to the merge without going to tribal council.
  • Ben is the only Hero to not have any votes against him going into the merge.
  • All three tribes went to tribal council two times during the pre-merge.

Hidden Immunity Idol

  • Joe found his second hidden immunity idol of the season. He joins Reynold Toepfer, Tai Trang, and David Wright as the only people to find more than one hidden immunity idol during a season’s pre-merge.
    • James Clement had two of the pre-merge idols in China, but one of them was given to him by Todd.
  • Joe is the 16th person in Survivor history to find two or more idols.

Confessionals

  • Ryan had the most confessionals this episode with 5.
    • He had the most pre-merge confessionals this season with 24.
  • Nobody had 0 confessionals this episode.
    • This is the first episode this season where everyone had at least one confessional.

Reward Challenge – “A-Tension Span”

  • A variation of this challenge has been previously seen in South Pacific, Millennials vs. Gen X, & Game Changers.
  • South Pacific is the only season where two tribes were competing in this challenge, as the other seasons all had three tribes competing.
      • It’s also the only season not filmed in Fiji to have this challenge.

Immunity Challenge – “Discy Business”

  • A variation of this challenge was previously seen in Blood vs. Water, San Juan Del Sur, Kaoh Rong, & Game Changers.
    • This is the first time it’s been used as a tribal immunity challenge.

Ratings

  • Episode 6 received 7.69 million viewers and 1.6/6 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share. This episode was up against the final game of the World Series.

Episode Title

  • The episode title “This is Why You Play Survivor” was said by Joe after he found his second hidden immunity idol.
