Tribal Council
- Natalie was voted out 3-2.
- She’s the first person named Natalie to not make it to the final four, and the only Natalie to be voted out pre-merge.

- The only remaining players with votes against them are all from the original David tribe (Elizabeth, Davie, & Lyrsa).
- The three original Goliath players to receive votes against them have gone home (Jeremy, Natalia, & Natalie).
- Natalie and Lyrsa have received votes at both tribal councils they’ve attended.
- Both times Lyrsa received votes, the person that went home voted for her.
- Jessica in Episode 2, Natalie in Episode 5.
- Both times Natalie received votes it was from the person she voted for.
- Jeremy in Episode 3, Lyrsa in Episode 5.
- Both times Lyrsa received votes, the person that went home voted for her.
- In both post-swap tribal councils, someone from the Goliath majority went home, with the flipped vote coming from an original Goliath male.
- Alec voted out Natalia in Episode 4.

- Kara voted for Davie, and Natalia voted for Elizabeth in Episode 4.

- Both players to receive votes against them in this episode were the oldest females from the David and Goliath tribe.
- Natalie (57) is the oldest Goliath female.

- Lyrsa is now the oldest female left in the game.
- One man and two women have been eliminated from both the original David and Goliath tribes so far.

Tribes/Season
- This is the second time the entire cast of players have been evacuated from the game. The first time happened in Millennials vs. Gen X.

Hidden Immunity Idol
- Dan is the fourth person to find a hidden immunity idol at a challenge.
- Kelley Wentworth and Jeremy Collins in Cambodia.
- Troyzan Robertson in Game Changers.
- Lauren Rimmer found one part of a two-part idol at a challenge in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
- Dan is the seventh person to possess two hidden immunity idols at the same time.

- Alison has the least with 3.
- She’s the only person to not have more than 1 confessional in any episode she’s been in, including the 6 people already out of the game.
Reward Challenge “Ball-istic Missiles”
- A similar challenge has been seen in South Pacific, Millennials vs. Gen X, and Game Changers.
- This is the first time it’s been used as a standalone reward challenge.
Immunity Challenge “A Bridge You Must Cross”
- Vuku came in first place in both challenges this episode.
- A similar challenge has been seen in Worlds Apart, Kaoh Rong, and Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
- Jabeni (Goliath) is the first tribe to lose this challenge, but also previously attend a tribal council.
- Escameca lost in Worlds Apart and attended their first tribal council.
- Chan Loh lost in Kaoh Rong and attended their first tribal council.
- Soko lost in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers and attended their first tribal council.
- Jabeni (Goliath) is the first tribe to lose this challenge, but also previously attend a tribal council.
Ratings
- The fifth episode received 7.37 million viewers and 1.5/6 in the Adults 18-49 Rating/Share.
Episode Title
- The episode title “Jackets and Eggs” was said by Jeff Probst at tribal council while discussing the issues brought up at tribal council.
- This is the first episode title said by Jeff since “It’s Like the Perfect Crime” in Ghost Island’s ninth episode.
