Cast/Season
- On day 2, Colby reached 100 days played, and on day 4 Coach reached 100 days played. They are the 12th and 13th players to do so. The others are as follows:
- Amanda, Parvati, Rupert, Boston Rob, Ozzy, Cirie, Andrea, Aubry, Sandra, Tyson, and Amber.
Hidden Immunity Idol/Advantage
- This is the first season to feature the boomerang idol. As such, Genevieve is the first player to find it and Ozzy is the first player to be given this idol.
- Savannah is the first player to have her vote blocked and receive the vote blocker advantage.
- This is Ozzy’s 3rd season where he is in possession of a hidden immunity idol.
Journey
- Both players who lost votes this episode are from the Vatu tribe.
Reward Challenge – “Maroon 50”
- Variations of this challenge were used in Borneo, The Australian Outback, Africa, Marquesas, All-Stars, & Cambodia.
- Jenna & Colby have participated in this challenge three times each.
- Colby won every time he played & Jenna only won in Borneo.
- Jenna & Colby have participated in this challenge three times each.
- Every time this challenge has been used, it was in the premiere episode.
- The pink tribe has won this challenge both times they competed in it.
- The title of the challenge is a play on the band name Maroon 5.
Immunity Challenge – “Highway 50”
- Variations of this challenge were previously used in Cagayan, San Juan del Sur, Ghost Island, Island of the Idols, Winners at War, Survivor 41, Survivor 47, Survivor 48, & Survivor 49.
- Genevieve, Joe, Kyle, Kamilla, Rizo, & Savannah have competed in this challenge twice. (Tony, Wendell, & Jeremy have also competed twice)
- Kamilla, Kyle, & Rizo won both times they competed
- Joe & Savannah won on their first season and lost on their second season.
- Genevieve lost on her first season and won on her second season.
- Everyone who’s competed in this challenge has won at least once.
- Genevieve, Joe, Kyle, Kamilla, Rizo, & Savannah have competed in this challenge twice. (Tony, Wendell, & Jeremy have also competed twice)
- This was Savannah & Joe’s first time losing the first immunity challenge of the season.
- Everyone else on the tribe has lost the first immunity challenge of a season at least once.
- Cila is the 11th orange tribe to lose the first immunity challenge.
- Pink tribes have won both first immunity challenges they’ve participated in.
- Bayon won in Cambodia.
- Vatu won in In the Hands of the Fans.
- Cila did not win a challenge in this episode.
- Only Vatu & Kalo won challenges.
Confessionals
- Stephenie had the first confessional of the season.
- Ozzy had the most confessionals this episode with 19.
- He had more confessionals this episode than he did in the entirety of Game Changers
- Dee & Tiffany had the lowest number of confessionals with 1.
- This is the 11th season in a row where every player got at least 1 confessional in the premiere episode.
- Dean in Island of the Idols is the most recent player to not get a confessional in the premiere episode of a season.
- This is the 11th season in a row where every player got at least 1 confessional in the premiere episode.
Tribal Council
- Jenna was voted out 7-1.
- In Borneo and In the Hands of the Fans she was voted out at a tribal council with 8 players present.
- Both players that received votes at tribal council in this episode (Jenna & Cirie) voted out someone named Tina during a premiere episode while also receiving a vote from the Tina that was voted out.
- Jenna voted out Tina Wesson in the premiere episode of All-Stars and received a vote from her.
- Cirie voted out Tina Scheer in the premiere episode of Panama and received a vote from her.
- If you multiply Jenna’s first two placements, you get her placement on In the Hands of the Fans.
- She placed 8th in Borneo, 3rd in All-Stars, and 24th in In the Hands of the Fans. 8 x 3 = 24.
- Jenna is the 3rd woman in a row to be the first player voted out of a season after Stephanie in Survivor 48 and Nicole in Survivor 49
- Gervase and Kelly Wiglesworth are the only Borneo players to return and never be eliminated pre-merge.
- On All-Stars, Rudy & Rich were voted out and Sue quit pre-merge.
- On In the Hands of the Fans Jenna was voted out pre-merge.
- Every all returning player season had a female voted out first except Cambodia.

- The only all-returning player season that didn’t have any winners on the cast, Cambodia, had a male first boot (Vytas)
- On Winners at War, Amber broke a record for longest time between returning seasons. She was voted out first from her tribe. Jenna broke Amber’s record this season and was also the first voted out from her tribe.
- Both times Colby & Jenna played together they were never on the same tribe.
- Jenna is the first player to place 24th on a season.
- This was her first time being voted out pre-merge and her first time not making it to 27 days.
- This is Jenna’s first season not being on a yellow and green tribe.
- In both of her returning seasons, Jenna received votes at the first tribal council of the season.
- Cirie has attended the first tribal council in 5 out of 6 seasons she played on. (Including Australian Survivor).
- Game Changers is the only time she won the first immunity challenge. She also never attended a pre-merge tribal council that season.
- Cirie has received a vote at her first tribal council in 3 of her seasons (Panama, Australian Survivor vs. the World, & In the Hands of the Fans)
Medical Evacuation
- Kyle is the first winner to be medically evacuated from a season.
- Kyle is one of 5 players to play multiple times and never be voted out.
- Skupin was medically evacuated from The Australian Outback and made it to final tribal council in Philippines.
- Jenna M won The Amazon and quit All-Stars
- Colton was medically evacuated from One World and quit Blood vs. Water.
- Michele won Kaoh Rong and made it to final tribal council in Winners at War
- Kyle won Survivor 48 and was medically evacuated from In the Hands of the Fans.
- None of these 5 players have the same combination of circumstances that resulted in them never being voted out.
- Aubry has been present for 4 medical evacuations on Survivor.
- Kaoh Rong: Caleb, Neal, & Joe were medically evacuated.
- In the Hands of the Fans: Kyle was medically evacuated.
- Kyle is the first player to place 23rd on a season.
- Kyle has the largest gap in placements between his two seasons, going from 1st place to 23rd place.
- Kyle has the lowest placement average for winners that played multiple seasons.
