Immunity Challenge – “Turn the Cage”
- Variations of this challenge were used in Island of the Idols and Survivor 45.
- Both times a blue tribe competed in this challenge, they won (Belo & Kele).
- Kristina is the only player to sit out of two challenges so far this season.
- The challenge name is a play on the song title “Turn the Page” by Bob Seger.
Confessionals
- Savannah had the highest number of confessionals this episode with 11.
- Sophi and Sophie had 1 confessional this episode.
- Savannah currently has the most confessionals with 36.
- Sophie has the lowest confessional count with 5.
- Sophie has the same amount of confessionals in five episodes that Nicole had in her only episode.
- Since swapping from three tribes to two tribes, everyone had at least 1 confessional each episode.
Tribal Council
- Jason was voted out 5-1.
- He’s the second person to be voted out 5-1 this season after Nicole.
- The only two players voted out on day 10 in the new era came from yellow tribes.
- Anika from Gata in Survivor 47.
- Jason from Hina in Survivor 49.
- With Jason being voted out, Hina is the seventh tribe to have no original tribe members remaining. The others are as follows:
- Maraamu in Marquesas
- Mogo Mogo in All-Stars
- Nuku in Game Changers
- Soko in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers
- Manu in Edge of Extinction
- Vula in Survivor 48
- This has only happened to green, blue, and yellow tribes.
- Prior to the tribe swap, only original Kele members were eliminated, and post tribe swap, only original Hina members were eliminated.
- Nobody from Uli has been voted out yet this season.
- Uli is the only “U” tribe to not have anybody voted out within the first five episodes of a season.
- Ulong, Upolu, and Ua all had at least two players voted out by episode 5.
- None of the remaining players have more than one vote against them at this point in the season.
- The only original Hina members to receive votes this season have been eliminated.
- Kristina, MC, Sophie, and Steven have 0 votes against them.
- This is the fifth new era season where multiple Asian players were voted out pre-merge.

- The episode title “I’m a Wolf Baby” was said by Sage when discussing wanting to vote out Shannon.
