- The Belo tribe is at the former beach for the following tribes:

- Soka is the first tribe that started on this beach to not produce a winner since Edge of Extinction.
- Sarah was on Tavua and Ben was on Yawa after the tribe swaps, so this beach has produced a total of eight winners who lived on this beach before the merge.
- Malolo, Soka, and Kama are the only tribes on this beach to not produce a winner.
- David vs. Goliath is the only season where the winner was only on this beach during the merge and never be at the beach pre-merge.

The Summit
- Drew is the second player to have the safety without power advantage.
- The first was Jeremy in Winners at War.
- Janet had the opportunity to earn one in Island of the Idols but declined the mentor challenge.
- Internationally, George Mladenov had one in Australian Survivor: Brains vs. Brawn, and KJ Austin had one in Australian Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
- The first was Jeremy in Winners at War.
Immunity Challenge: “Smash & Grab”
- Lulu is the 7th yellow tribe to lose the first two immunity challenges. The others are as follows:
- Boran in Africa
- Maraamu in Marquesas
- Saboga in All-Stars
- Zhan Hu in China
- Foa Foa in Samoa
- Yase in Survivor 41
- Lulu is the 6th tribe to lose the first two challenges in a three-starting tribe season.

- Yase in Survivor 41
- Versions of this challenge have been used on Cook Islands, Micronesia, Redemption Island, Caramoan, San Juan del Sur, Millennials vs. Gen X, and Survivor 44.
- Lulu is the first yellow tribe to compete in this challenge and also the first yellow tribe to lose this challenge.
Tribal Council
- Brandon was voted out 3-0.
- Brandon is the first player to be voted out 3-0 without it being a revote or due to idols being played.
- He’s the second player named Brandon to be eliminated before the merge.
- The first was Brandon Hantz in Caramoan.
- Brandon Hantz made it to the merge in South Pacific, so Brandon Donlon is the only Brandon to never make it to the merge in a season.
- Every other Brandon to play Survivor made it to the merge.
- Brandon Quinton in Africa
- Brandon Bellinger in Guatemala
- Brandon Cottom in Survivor 44
- The first was Brandon Hantz in Caramoan.
- Brandon is the first man since David Voce in Survivor 41 to be voted out on day 5.
- Coincidentally, they both went to two tribal councils and were on yellow tribes.
- The only players eliminated from yellow tribes on day 5 are men.
- Samoa: Mike Borassi was medically evacuated while on Foa Foa.

- Jessica in David vs. Goliath: Pat was medically evacuated before the first tribal council.
- Natalie in Winners at War: Natalie returned from Edge of Extinction at the final five and made it to final tribal council, so she wasn’t eliminated from the season.
- Maddy in Survivor 44: Bruce was medically evacuated before the first tribal council.
- Brandon is the third player to be eliminated in the same episode where he went to the summit. The others are as follows:
- Brad in Survivor 41
- Geo in Survivor 43
- All three players with this distinction are men.
- This is the second season where nobody remaining in the game had any votes against them going into episode 3.
- The first was Survivor 42.
Confessionals
- Drew and Sabiyah had the most confessionals this episode with 8.
- J.Maya, Sifu, Jake, Kellie, and Kendra had the least amount of confessionals with 1.
- Sabiyah has the most confessionals so far with 15.
- J. Maya has the least amount of confessionals so far with 2.
- Everyone got at least 1 confessional this episode.
- This is the first time in Survivor history that everyone had a confessional in episode 2.
Ratings
- The second episode received 4.879 million viewers and 0.78 in the Adults 18-49 demo.
Episode Title
- The episode title “Brought a Bazooka to a Tea Party” was said by Emily when talking about her aggressive personality in comparison to the rest of her tribe.
