The forty-fourth edition of Survivor will land on our screens on March 1, 2023, and with it comes 18 brand new castaways who will battle it out for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million prize.
As previously reported by Inside Survivor, the upcoming season will follow a similar format to Survivor 43, with a shortened 26 days and castaways divided into three tribes of six. However, there are expected to be some new twists, including the previously mentioned idol cages.
Today, we can reveal a first look at the tribe divisions.

The Tika tribe, who will wear purple, is made up of drug abuse counselor Carolyn Wiger, product manager Helen Li, consultant Sarah Wade, Navy veteran/realtor Bruce Perreault, aerospace engineering student Carson Garrett, and beautician Yamil ‘Yam Yam’ Arocho.
The Ratu tribe, who will wear orange, is made up of football player Brandon Cottom, law student Kane Fritzler, barbershop owner Matthew Grinstead-Mayle, TikTok star Jaime Lynne Ruiz, teacher Lauren Harpe, and Maddy Pomilla.
The Soka tribe, who will wear green, is made up of investor Claire Rafson, research coordinator Frannie Marin, product developer Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt, firefighter Danny Massa, podiatrist Dr. Joshua Wilder, and software engineer Matthew Blankinship.
