Reward/Immunity Challenge – “Dive Masters”
- Yase is the 5th tribe to lose the first two challenges in a 3-starting tribe season.

- Yase is the 6th yellow tribe to lose the first two immunity challenges. The others are as follows:
- Boran in Africa
- Maraamu in Marquesas

- Foa Foa in Samoa
- Up until Yase in Survivor 41, Foa Foa was the most recent yellow tribe to lose the first two immunity challenges.
- Coincidentally, Samoa is also the most recent season without a casting theme/twist.
- Ua won their flint back after losing it after the last immunity challenge.
- Versions of this challenge were previously used in Vanuatu, Micronesia, Philippines, Cagayan, Millennials vs. Gen X, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Ghost Island, and Edge of Extinction.
Advantage/Twists
- Xander found a 3-way shared immunity idol (also known as the beware advantage).
- This is a new advantage that hasn’t been used before.
- Since it’s a “beware” advantage, the idol has no power and he lost his vote at tribal council until two players on the other tribes find theirs as well.
- Evvie and DeShawn were chosen to go to The Summit.
- Evvie protected their vote and DeShawn risked his which meant DeShawn will receive an extra vote.
- Every tribe now has one person with an extra vote. JD on Ua, Xander on Yase, and DeShawn on Luvu.

Tribal Council
- David was voted out 3-1.
- This was the first time there was a 3-1 vote with a 5-person tribe (Xander wasn’t able to vote).
- He’s the 8th David/Dave to play Survivor.

- The placements of the men on the Yase tribe reflect their ages.
- Eric was the oldest male on Yase and he was voted out first
- David was the second oldest and he was voted out second.
- Xander is the youngest male and his placement will be the highest of the three Yase men.
- Xander is the only male left on Yase.
- Both players voted out of the tribe so far were men.
- Yase is also the only tribe that has lost any men so far this season.
Confessionals
- Evvie had the highest number of confessionals this episode with 10.
- Danny, Erika, Heather, Genie, and JD had no confessionals this episode.
- Evvie has the highest confessional count so far with 19.
- Heather has the lowest confessional count so far with 1.

- The second episode received 5.7 million viewers and 0.9 in the Adults 18-49 demo.
Episode Title
- The episode title ”Juggling Chainsaws” was said by Xander at tribal council when discussing the vote.
